Base Class: Monk
Due to their new compressed bodies, Monks of the Way of Rubber gain resistance to bludgeoning and electric/lightning damage, as well as having their unarmed strike distance range increase to 10ft.
Rubber Attacks
At Level 3, you gain access to a number of new attacks utilizing your rubber body.
Rubber Bullet - Expending one Ki point, you can stretch your arm behind you, creating tension, before unleashing your kinetically powered fist onto an enemy. This Rubber Bullet will impose one of the following on an enemy:
- It must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.
- It must make a Strength saving throw. If it fails, you can push it up to 15 feet away from you.
Rubber Balloon - Expending one Ki point as a reaction, your body expands as you inhale, doubling your size and reducing all damage taken by half. All enemies and allies within 5ft of you will be pushed back, and must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone.
Rubber Cannon - As a rubber man, you can use an action to grab hold of any unmoving, stationary object and back away, stretching your arms up to 20ft. You can then launch yourself forward by double the distance you stretched your arms.
Rubber Vulcanization
At 6th level, you gain the ability to vulcanize yourself. As an action, you can increase your blood flow by tightening your veins, increasing your speed by 15ft and your AC+2. This vulcanization lasts up to three (3) turns, but will leave you in a state of exhaustion, increasing your exhaustion level by one for each turn past three (3) that you remain vulcanized. While vulcanized, all attacks deal an extra 1d6 damage. You may enter your Vulcanized state once per short rest.
Additionally, your unarmed strikes now have a range of 15ft.
Enhanced Vulcanization
Beginning at 11th level, you can enter your vulcanized form up to five (5) turns before gaining levels of exhaustion. Additionally, you deal an extra 1d10 damage while vulcanized.
Additionally, your unarmed strike range has increased to 20ft.
Inherited Will
At 17th level, you gain the ability to overpower those with weak will. Once per long rest, you can use the power of your Inherited Will to force any chosen or all targets within a 50ft radius around you to make a Constitution saving throw. All who fail will become unconscious until directly woken up. Using your Inherited Will also gives all allies within the range a point of Inspiration.
Additionally, your vulcanization damage bonus now adds 1d20 damage.
Your unarmed strike range has increased to 25ft.
