Base Class: Wizard
This is a subclass designed to complement and expand the already broad nature of the wizard class by creating power through versatility and expanding upon the usefulness of low-level spells. It would be a good choice for a veteran player who has tried every class, or as in my case a player who suffers from decision paralysis when prepping spells trying to balance utility vs. combat strength.
Ritual Savant
Your knowledge of the arcane focuses on usefulness rather than power.
Every Ritual Spell is now considered part of your Wizard Spell List, and is considered a Wizard Spell for you.
In addition, you may cast any Prepared Ritual Spell using its normal Casting Time, and any Unprepared Ritual Spell with a full Action in addition to its regular Casting Time.
Cantrip Addict
You find that the smallest of magical effects is usually enough to get the job done.
You may now select Cantrips from any Spell List and they are considered Wizard Spells for you.
Your number of known Cantrips is now 2 + your Wizard Level.
Preparation Master
Your hands have prepared more spells than you care to remember.
You can now Prepare Spells after both Short Rests and Long Rests.
In addition, you may cast any Unprepared Spell using two Spell Slots of the appropriate level and a full Action in addition to its regular Casting Time.
Breadth of Knowledge
You still find use in lower tiers of magic, and have committed more to memory than Cantrips.
Every 1st and 2nd Level Spell is now available to you at its base Spell Level, and use Intelligence as your Spellcasting Ability.
In addition, all of your 1st and 2nd Level Spells are always considered prepared and don't count against the number of Spells you can Prepare.
Hasted Utility
You have learned how to cast most utility spells without even breaking your stride.
You may now cast 1st and 2nd Level Spells that have no damage rolls in half the time a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus per Long Rest.
These Spells with a Casting Time of a Bonus Action can be cast as a Free Action, and those with a Casting Time of an Action can be cast as a Bonus Action.
