Warlocks blessed by the world tree Receive an insight to the world and life around them. Their respect for nature itself and willingness to protect it makes them amazing diplomats and forces of nature alike.

Extended Spell List

The World Tree lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Bramble Patch

Roots spring from the ground to impede your enemies wrapping around their feet to hold them down.

Starting at 1st level as a bonus action on your turn you can choose a point within 60-feet of you and create a 10-foot radius bramble patch on the ground of magical difficult terrain. This bramble patch lasts for 1 minute and then dissipates. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Prof bonus per long rest

Forest-Dweller

Starting at 1st level you are immune to non-magical difficult terrain and difficult terrain created by you

Bramble Vines

Starting at 6th level when a creature within 60 feet of you ends their turn within your Bramble Patch you can use your reaction to end the bramble early causing it to wrap around the creature. The creature must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw against your warlock spell save DC or become restrained until the the end of their next turn.

Wooden Skin

Starting at 6th level you have a base AC of 16

Spirit Tree

Starting at 10th level as an bonus action you can summon a visage of the World Tree within 30 feet of you in the form of a 20-foot tall, 5-foot radius tree, or as big as the space allows. Enemies with in the space the tree is created must succeed on a Strength saving throw against your warlock spell save DC or be pushed 10 feet away. The tree lasts for 8 hours. The tree has an AC 15, 50 hitpoints, and a vulnerability to fire damage

Creatures who take a Short Rest within 30-feet of the tree gain the following benefits.

  • When rolling Hit Die creature gain additional hitpoints equal to your Charisma Modifier
  • Creatures are cured of the Poisoned Condition
  • Creatures become immune to difficult terrain for 4 hours

Creature who take a Long rest within 30-feet of the tree gain the following benefits

  • Creatures gain temporary hitpoints equal to half your warlock level + your charisma mod
  • Creatures are cured of the Poisoned Condition and any disease afflicting them
  •  Creatures become immune to difficult terrain for 4 hours
  • The time needed for the long rest is halved

Once you use this feature you cannot use it again until you complete a Long Rest

Living Forest

Starting at 14th level, as an action you magically animate one tree you can see within 60 feet of you. The tree uses the Tree Spirit stat block. The tree acts on the same initiative as you and only takes the Dodge action unless you command it to take another action. 

The tree created by your Spirit Tree feature is a valid target for this action

The tree remains animate for 1 hour or until it dies; until the Tree Spirit dies or is more than 120 feet from the tree; or until you take a bonus action to turn it back into an inanimate tree. The tree then takes root if possible.

You may only use this feature once per long rest
