Base Class: Monk
Monks who follow the Way of the Lunar Sentinel worship the goddess Iara. They provide refuge to rogues, refugees, and those running from prosecution in exchange for faith in their goddess. They brandish weapons of lunar light and stand against the mortal enemies of their goddess, ensuring that her pain is felt by those who have wronged her. Monks of this tradition often work together with clerics, paladins, and other members of Iara's domain to ensure Iara's wishes are best met.
Lunar Arsenal
Starting at 3rd Level when this tradition is chosen, your training and tutelage culminate in your ability to form your first lunar weapon. This weapon often takes the form of any melee weapon commonly used by monks, but can be any weapon at the DMs discretion. The weapon also counts as a monk weapon for you. Regardless of the weapon chosen, it deals 1d8 damage. The damage type is determined by the weapon summoned and can be bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing.
Iara's Wrath
At 6th level, you gain the ability to channel your ki into more aggressive actions. Immediately after you take the attack action on your turn with at least one of your attacks being made with your lunar weapon, you can spend 2 ki points to make 2 additional attacks with the weapon and force any hostile creatures within 10 feet of you to make a wisdom saving throw against your Ki save DC. On a failed save, a creature becomes frightened of you until the end of your next turn.
Iara's Mercy
At 11th level, you learn to invoke Iara's mercy to heal yourself and 5 others. As an action, you may speak a short prayer. You and 4 other friendly creatures within 20 feet of you receive 2d6 hit points. You may offer your own energy to increase the potency of the healing. For each Ki point you spend up to a maximum of 3, the healing increases by 1d6.
Sentinel's Eclipse
You gain the ability to channel your ki to become a beacon of Iara's will. As an action you may spend 4 Ki points to transform into a true Lunar Sentinel. For 1 minute, you may channel the energy of Iara's children and send shades of these foxes to attack your foes. Make 3 ranged attacks using your wisdom modifier. Each attack deals 3d8 radiant damage as the foxes tear into your target. You may spend up to 2 ki points to summon an additional fox per ki point spent.
