The archetype of the Windblade proves the elemental mastery of wind, with the use of blades. A master swordsman who can slice opponents with the wind itself.

Whirlwind Slash

Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, your movement is increased by 10 feet.

If you're wielding a slashing melee weapon, when you take the attack action on your turn, you can forgo all of your attacks, to instead create a slashing whirlwind around you. All creatures within 10 feet of you must succeed on a dexterity saving throw, or take damage equal to 1d6 for every attack you have, plus your strength or dexterity modifier. Saving Throw DC is equal to 8 + Your proficiency bonus + your dexterity or strength modifier (Whichever you use for the damage). You can use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier, and regain all uses when you finish a short or long rest.

The damage die for this ability increases at certain levels in this class. A d8 at 8th level, d10 at 12th level, and d12 at 16th level.

Avoidance of Might

Starting at 7th level, when you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a Strength or Constitution saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail.

Spinning Strike

Starting at 10th level, when you take the attack action on your turn to attack with a melee slashing weapon, or you use your Whirlwind Slash ability, you can use your bonus action to make a spinning strike. All creatures within 5 feet of you must succeed on a dexterity saving throw, or take damage of your weapon.

Sail the Wind

Starting at 15th level, you can use your bonus action to sail the wind, gaining flying (hover) speed equal to your walking speed for an hour. You can do so only once, and regain the use of this ability when you finish a short rest.

Cyclone strikes

Starting at level 18th, whenever you strike a critical hit with a slashing melee weapon on your turn, you can make another attack immediately against the same target. You can use this feature only once per attack action.
