Base Class: Ranger
You have dedicated yourself to understanding the nature of the wilds around you. A Nature's Favored ranger seeks to rid the wilderness of unnatural threats and act as a champion of the wilds. Trained in both martial and magic techniques these rangers find their skills use to the betterment of life.
Nature's Favored Magic
Starting at 3rd level, you learn an additional spell when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown in the Nature's Favored Spells table. The spell counts as a ranger spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of ranger spells you know.
Nature's Favored Spells
| Ranger Level | Spell |
|---|---|
| 3rd | bless |
| 5th | fortune's favor |
| 9th | aura of vitality |
| 13th | guardian of nature |
| 17th | skill empowerment |
Skillful Luck
Your time spent in the wilderness has honed you're skills and awareness. What were once considered lucky shots are now little more then applying your skills.
Whenever you make an attack roll, an ability check, or a saving throw, you can use this feature once to roll an additional d20. You can choose to use this feature after you roll the die, but before the outcome is determined. You choose which of the d20s is used for the attack roll, ability check, or saving throw.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.
Warrior of the Wilds
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Nature and Survival skills if you don’t already have it. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses either of those proficiencies.
Lucky Savant
By 7th level, you have honed your senses to allow nature to guide you. Whenever you make an attack roll, an ability check, or a saving throw you can use this feature to treat a d20 roll of 6 or lower as a 7.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your wisdom modifier + your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Nature's Fury
At 11th level, you learn to strike with incredible speed and ferocity. Your weapon attacks now score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20. Additionally once on each of your turns when you critically hit with a weapon attack, you can make another weapon attack as part of the same action.
Nature's Beloved
At 15th level, the bond between you and the natural world around you can save you from death. If you are ever reduced to 0 hitpoints and thereby fall unconscious, you become imbued with the magics of nature and are given life. You regain 70 hitpoints and immediately rise to your feet.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
