Base Class: Bard
Anarchy is the state of society being freely constituted without authorities or a governing body. You reject the established bard hierarchy and many bards who fail out of their selected colleges but refuse to give up will find themselves aligning with the College of Anarchy. In practical terms, anarchy can refer to the curtailment or abolition of traditional forms of government and institutions. It can also designate a nation or any inhabited place that has no system of government or central rule. Anarchy is primarily advocated by individual anarchists who propose replacing government with voluntary institutions. These true institutions or associations generally are modeled on nature since they can represent concepts such as community and economic self-reliance, interdependence, or individualism. Although anarchy is often negatively used as a synonym of chaos or societal collapse, this is not the meaning that anarchists attribute to anarchy, a society without hierarchies.
Bonus Proficiencies
When you join the College of Anarchy at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with heavy armor, medium armor, shields, and martial weapons.
Wracking Chords
Also at 3rd level, you learn how to use your discordant noises to demoralize, and expose the weakness of others. When a creature that you can see within 60 feet of you makes an attack roll, an ability check, or a damage roll, you can use your reaction to expend one of your uses of Bardic Inspiration, rolling a Bardic Inspiration die and subtracting the number rolled from the creature’s roll. You can choose to use this feature after the creature makes its roll, but before the DM determines whether the attack roll or ability check succeeds or fails, or before the creature deals its damage. The creature is immune if it can’t hear you or if it’s immune to being charmed.
Extra Attack
Starting at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.
Take Back the Power
When you roll a 1 on the d20 for an attack, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll. When you use this Class Feature to reroll a d20 for an attack, if your attack hits, you can roll one of the weapon’s damage dice one additional time and add it to the attacks damage.
Showoff
Starting at 14th level, when you make an ability check, you can expend one use of Bardic Inspiration. Roll a Bardic Inspiration die and add the number rolled to your ability check. You can choose to do so after you roll the die for the ability check, but before the DM tells you whether you succeed or fail.
