Snow Sorcery

Your magic comes from the Frostfell. Snow Sorcerers draw their power have a connection or bond with the plane of ice. It does not matter how or why their powers exist, all those who are snow sorcerers can feel its power coursing through their body. Their magic allows them to alter the temperature of everything from the environment to individual people.

Cold Blood

The arcane magic you command lowers your body temperature drastically. Your lowered body heat allows you to gain resistance against fire and cold damage.

Winter Magic

Starting at 1st level, spells you cast ignore resistance or immunity to cold damage. In addition, when you roll damage for a spell you cast that deals cold damage, you can treat any 1 on a damage die as a 2.

Freeze Dry

At 6th level, you can change spells that do fire damage into cold damage. In addition, whenever you start casting a spell of 1st level or higher that deals cold damage, an icicle is formed from your magic. You can then cast ice knife as a reaction.

Barrage Of Hail

At 6th level, you gain the ability to subtly control the weather around you.

You gain the ability to subtly control the weather around you. You can use an action to create a hail storm. At the start of each turn all creatures except for you must make a dexterity saving throw (DC 13). On a failed save, the creature must take 4d6 bludgeoning damage. You can end this effect as a bonus action.

Snow Cloak

Starting at 14th level, when you are hit by a melee attack, the attacker must make a constitution saving throw against you sorcerer spell save DC. On a failed save, the creature takes 2d10 cold damage.

Icy Prison

At 18th level, you gain immunity to fire and cold damage.

 You also gain the ability to imprison a creature you can see within 20 feet of you in a block of ice. Twice per short rest, as an action, a creature you can see within 30 feet of you must make a DC 17 constitution saving throw or become petrified. You regain all uses of icy prison after a short rest.
