Monk
Base Class: Monk
Monks who follow the way of the Brute follow a path of violence. They are often not members of monk orders, instead they tend to be wanderers and vagabonds who learn their arts through the constant challenges they seek, for they are creatures who learn from experience, from rivalry and from pain. The seek out the members of other monk orders, adventurers, warriors even mythical creatures to test their mettle against those they choose to face. Victory or defeat it does not matter to those who choose the path of the Brute, it is the martial challenge, the mental challenge. Brute monks can often be found as members of thieves' guilds or other unsavoury organisations, living lives on the rougher side of the tracks or in adventuring parties seeking out stronger and stronger opponents. Unlike other monks who train in weapons, followers of the brutal path focus exclusively on unarmed attacks. They harness their inner strength not through the manipulation of Ki but through deep reserves of inner strength known as grit, pummelling their enemies with head butts, elbow strikes and knees.
NOTE:
I would recommend (I would for any monk) that you ask you DM if you can use a D10 hit die with this archetype.

Path of the Brute

Brute monks hone their bodies unlike any other monks, as such their unarmed strikes are almost supernaturally powerful. Starting at third level you use the table below as long as you are using your unarmed strikes. If you pay the grit cost of the brute strikes you gain the bonus damage, this damage lasts until you perform a short or long rest and then you must pay the cost again.

Test your Mettle

At 7th level, you gain the ability to augment your unarmed strikes further with your grit. As a bonus action, you can expend up to 3 ki points to grant your unarmed strikes and brutal blows a bonus to attack and damage rolls when you attack with it. The bonus equals the number of ki points you spent. This bonus lasts until your next short rest or until you fall unconscious.

Brutal Resilience

At 11th level your thirst for battle adds a quickening to your strikes. You gain an additional attack as part of your attack action.

At 11th level your body and mind are honed to a razor's edge, you can add your strength modifier to your, dexterity and wisdom saving throws.

Brutality

You have almost completely mastered your speed and power. Starting at 15th level, when you score a critical hit with an unarmed attack,  you can choose to spend a grit point to gain a bonus to that weapon’s damage roll equal to your half level (rounded up) in this class.. Your unarmed attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19–20.

You move with startling alacrity. Your speed allows you to strike without hesitation and turn blows that will hit you into misses. As part of your Brutal Strikes bonus action you can now make 3 attacks, instead of 2.
