Base Class: Bard
This bard subclass allows bards to associate their music with sauce. The sauce can create, destroy, or even heal. Bards who take this subclass must be people willing to go to extreme measures to try new sauce and taste their old, beloved sauce.
Brewer's Supplies
When you join the College of Sauce at 3rd Level, you gain proficiency with Brewer's Supplies, but only for making sauce. Additionally, you can spend an hour and a first level spell slot to create a magical set of Brewer's Supplies. These tools disappear if you use this feature again.
Magical Sauce
At 3rd Level when you join this College, you can spend 10 minutes playing your instrument 15 ft. or less away from a pot of sauce you made once per long rest. This sauce becomes magical and gains one of the following benefits:
- Your sauce damages those who come into contact with it. Each time a creature besides you comes into the sauce's space or starts its turn there, it takes 1d6 fire damage.
- Your sauce heals those who eat it. Each time a creature eats 1/4 cup or more of your sauce, it is healed for 1d6.
- Your sauce makes those who eat it... better. Each time a creature eats 1/2 cup or more of your sauce, it gains advantage on all saving throws for 1 minute.
Spells of Sauce
At 6th level, all your spells become sauce-infused. When you cast a spell, you can choose to make it deal 1d10 extra sauce damage or heal 1d6 extra.
At 10th level, this increases to 2d10 extra sauce damage or 2d6 extra healing and can be done twice per short or long rest.
At 15th level, this increases to 3d10 extra sauce damage or 3d6 extra healing and can be done three times per short or long rest.
At 18th level, this increases to 4d10 extra sauce damage or 4d6 extra healing.
Saucilian Might
At 14th level, you are so attuned to the sauce that you can control it. You can throw a glob of sauce up into the air as an action. It hovers there and as a bonus action on each of your turns, you can make it move up to 30 ft. If the sauce moves more than 120 ft. away from you, it drops and becomes nonmagical. When people come into contact with the sauce, they make a DEX saving throw, taking 5d8 sauce damage on a failure and half that on a success.
At 20th level, they don't make the saving throw and instead just take the damage.
