Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Perhaps you were born during an outbreak of a magical plague that bound itself into you. Or maybe you are the chosen of a god of sickness. It doesn't matter its source, what matters is that now you are diseased. And unlike a normal disease, it didn't just infect your body; it infected your soul. There is no cure for you, but that doesn't need to be a bad thing. You could be a traveling plague doctor, helping the unfortunate knowing you needn't fear for your own safety. All you would need to do is to take precautions to ensue you aren't spreading it to the others you treat. Or maybe such precautions are beneath you; after all, disease weeds out the weak so that the strong can thrive. You can even see yourself as some kind of force of nature or a divinity, acting as an agent in your benefactor's name.

No matter your outlook on disease, nothing can change that it's now a part of your life. And what part it plays will affect everyone you come in contact with, for good or ill.

Plague Bringer

1st-level Infected Soul feature

Your origin shields you from the negative effects of disease and other bodily corruptions. You are immune to the poisoned condition, and you have resistance to poison damage. You are are also immune to all negative effects and penalties that are caused by disease. You can still be infected and transmit sickness to other creatures, and any effect that would cure you functions normally.

Plague Scholar

1st-level Infected Soul feature

You have a sixth sense in the identification and treatment of illnesses. You gain proficiency in Medicine, and you have advantage on any Medicine check to treat an illness. You also act as if you are under the effects of the Detect Poison and Disease spell at all times.

Overwhelming Illness

6th-level Infected Soul feature

When you cast a spell that deals poison damage, you can add your Charisma modifier to one damage roll of that spell. Spells that you cast that deal poison damage ignore damage resistance. In addition, when you cast a spell or use an sorcerer feature that deals necrotic damage, you can chose to instead have that spell or feature deal poison damage.

Necrotizing Cloud

14th-level Infected Soul feature

You throw a cloud of disease that eats away at the flesh of all who enter it. You create a 30 ft. sphere of sickness in an area within 60 ft. of yourself. This cloud lasts for 1 minute. Any creature that starts its turn in the cloud must make a Constitution save or take 12d8 necrotic damage and be blinded and poisoned. These conditions last for as long as the creature is in the cloud, and for 1 round after the creature leaves it. A creature that succeeds its save takes only half damage, and is not blinded or poisoned. You are not blinded or poisoned from your own use of this feature, and nor do take damage from your own cloud.

A moderate wind (at least 10 miles per hour) disperses the cloud after 4 rounds. A strong wind (at least 20 miles per hour) disperses it after 1 round.

Once you use this feature, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest.

Rejuvenating Growth

18th-level Infected Soul feature

Your body's natural healing is far beyond normal. At the end of all of your turns you regain 3 hit points. You can spend 1 minute and 3 sorcery points to regrow a severed body member on yourself.

In addition, if you are brought below 0 hit points, you automatically regain 10d6 hit points and can chose to use your necrotizing cloud feature centered on yourself as a free action. Once you use this feature, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest.

Viral Resurrection

18th-level Infected Soul feature

You can push yourself to bring someone else back to life, but at significant cost. You can spend 1 minute, all your remaining sorcery points, and half of your remaining hit points to resurrect a creature that hasn't been dead for more than a day. If its soul is free and willing, the target returns to life with 1 hit point. This feature neutralizes any poisons and cures all diseases afflicting the creature when it died. This feature closes all mortal wounds and restores any missing body parts. Being resurrected in this way is a horrific ordeal that deals enormous damage to the both your and the target's bodies. Any creature that is resurrected by this feature takes a -8 penalty to their Constitution. This penalty can be removed by any effect that removes disease.

Once you use this feature, you are unable to use any sorcerer features or cast any sorcerer spells for 1 week.
