Monk
Base Class: Monk

Through your passion for fighting, you are able to channel your ki into flame. The more engrossed in a battle you become i.e the more damage you take, the stronger you become. Can you handle the heat? Or will you burn away your life like so many others before you?

Just Getting Started

Starting when you choose this tradition at the 3rd level, you can ignite your strikes with the flame of battle. Whenever you hit a creature with a unarmed strike you may add a extra 1d6 of fire damage the the attack.

Your damage increases as you level up

At 5th level, 2d6, 11th level, 3d6, 17th level, 4d6.

Starting at the 5th level, all of your flame attacks have a 30% chance of igniting the target dealing 1d4 fire damage, until the creature spends 1 action to extinguish the flames.

Adrenaline Junkie

The more imminent a battle is , the more excited you become. At the 6th level, when you go below half you hit point maximum, your movement speed is doubled until your current HP is above half your maximum HP. In addition, if you are at a quarter of you HP maximum or lower, you get an extra attack in addition to the extra attack given by the monk class.

Head First

Being in the heat of a battle, on the front lines, excites you even more than it has before. During your first turn of combat, you have advantage on all attacks against creatures that have not taken a turn in imitative. This applies to your first round of combat only and resets when initiative is over. In addition to the "Head First" feature, you also have access to "Pryokinesis". (See additional class feature)

Pyrokinesis

You have learned to control fire in ways that you could only dream of. In addition to the "Head First" feature as granted by this subclass, you also gain this feature. You can now cast the spells Firebolt and Absorb Elements (fire only) at the 1st level. WIS is your spell casting modifier for these spells.

Embrace of the Sun

You understand and love the chaos of battle so much that it fuels your muscles and spirit with vigor. At the 17th level you gain access to a form that rivals the energy of the Sun. The form is as follows:

Embrace of the Sun

“C'mon then let’s see which one of us is gonna last longer!”

This form can only be obtained by those who in the moment reject all other attachments and only love the battle itself.

When this form is activated, the attributes of the user immensely increase. Your STR, DEX, and CON stats are all increased by 6.

In addition, the user is resistant all non-magical attacks and is immune to both radiant and fire damage.

The form gets stronger along with the regular fire strikes every turn. The user can add an additional damage die to their attacks, dealing radiant damage. The damage die can be any die that the user wishes, but at the end of their turn, the user will then re-roll all extra rolled dice and will take damage equivalent to the number rolled.

Also, you gain a higher level of "Pyrokinesis". You can now cast the spell Fireball at 3rd level, Flame Roar (Aganazzar's Scorcher) at 2nd level, and Scorching Ray at at 2nd level.

Blazing Soul

Starting at the 11th level, you gain the ability to ignite your soul with the spark of battle. Doing so grants you power that you've never had before. Can you withstand the flames? Or will you soul turn to ash? The ability gained is a s follows:

This form when activated as a bonus action, immensely increases the attributes of the user.

The users STR, DEX and CON stats are all increased by 3

The user also becomes resistant to both radiant and fire damage when in this form. Also, the user deals an extra 1d6 of fire damage with each strike.

The user also gains the following ability while in this form.

Firebomb Kamikaze:

If you have a creature grappled, using an extra attack, the user flares into a blinding ball of fire.

Both the user and the creature currently grappled must make a CON saving throw against the user's spell save DC, taking 8d8 fire damage on a fail, and half as much on a success. Uncanny dodge and evasion are nullified by this attack. The user explodes in a violent storm of fire and if the user failed the saving throw, they lose the Blazing Soul form and can not activate it again until a short rest.
