Base Class: Barbarian
You have a deep well of fire within you, and an innate ability to call upon it. At the beginning of your journey, your magic is raw and uncontrolled, governed by your tempestuous emotions. Pyromancers have no need of spellbooks or infernal patrons - their magic is ingrained in every part of their being. Typically emerging in a moment of danger during their youth, a pyromancer's magic is reflexive, powerful, and devastating. Early outbursts of a pyromancer's power often end in tragedy. Only by finding peace with their own roiling emotions can a pyromancer reach their full potential.
Spellcasting
You carry with you a spark of the eternal flame. This spark fuels your spells. See Spells Rules for the general rules of spellcasting and the Spells Listing for the pyromancer spell list. As your spells are expressions of an innate part of your being, you are able to cast all pyromancer spells without somatic, verbal, or material components. Instead, a fiery aura of magic swirls around you as you begin to cast a spell, creating a visual indicator other characters are able to detect.
Cantrips
Starting at 3rd level, you know two cantrips from the pyromancer spell list. You learn an additional cantrip at 10th level.
Spell Slots
The Pyromancer table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your spells of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell’s level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest.
For example, if you know the 1st-level spell burning hands and have a 1st-level and a 2nd-level spell slot available, you can cast burning hands using either slot.
Spells Known at 1st Level and Higher
You know two 1st-level spells of your choice from the pyromancer spell list.
The Spells Known column of the Pyromancer table shows when you learn more pyromancer spells of your choice. Each of these spells must be of a level for which you have spell slots. For instance, when you reach 7rd level, you can learn one new spell of 1st or 2nd level.
Additionally, when you gain a level in this class, you can choose one of the pyromancer spells you know and replace it with another spell from the pyromancer spell list, which also must be of a level for which you have spell slots.
Spellcasting Ability
Charisma is your spellcasting ability for your pyromancer spells, since the power of your magic relies on your ability to project your will into the world. You use your Charisma whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Charisma modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a pyromancer spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.
Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier
Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier

Consuming Fire
Starting at 3rd level, whenever you cast a spell that includes a fire damage roll, you take 1d4 fire damage ignoring resistance and add that much fire damage to the effect of the spell. This increases to 2d4 at 14th level.
Flaming Fists
Starting at 3rd level, on a successful unarmed attack, you may wreathe yourself in flames. When you do, deal 1d4 fire damage in addition to the bludgeoning damage from the attack. The damage increases to 2d4 at level 10 and 3d4 at level 14. Once you've used flaming fists a number of times equal to your charisma modifier, you can't use it again until you've completed a long rest.
Unarmed Master
When you take the Attack action and make an unarmed attack with one hand, you can use a bonus action to make an unarmed attack with your other hand. Both of your hands must be free to use this ability.
Mantle of Flame
Starting at 10th level, when you rage, you magically wreath yourself in swirling fire and your eyes glow like hot coals. Until your rage ends, you gain the following benefits:
- You gain resistance to fire damage.
- You shed bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet.
- A creature takes fire damage equal to your charisma modifier if it hits you with a melee attack from within 5 feet of you.
Improved Mantle of Flame
When you rage starting at 14th level, in addition to the benefits of your Mantle of Flame feature, whenever you roll fire damage on your turn the roll gains a bonus equal to your Charisma modifier.
