Monk
Base Class: Monk

A monk who follows the Dao is called a Cultivator and chooses to deny all the teachings learned before. They have chosen to relearn the workings of the Heavens so that they may take control of the Heavens themselves. To take control of the Heavens is to defy the natural order of the World and this leads to Tribulations that must be overcome throughout the lifetime of a Cultivator. As a Cultivator begins to understand the Heavens they begin to control the Material Plane using their Spiritual Energy. They combine the force in their bodies with the power of nature to Split Mountains and Divide the Rivers with a wave of their hand.

Body Refining Art

The Body Refining Art is a Cultivator technique that boosts the natural defense of the Cultivators Body. By cultivating the Body Refining Art the body of the user becomes more pure and strong. The effects of this Art increase the Constitution of the user by ( 2x their current lvl) so lvl 4 gets and additional 8 HP while lvl 20 gets 40 hp.

The Four Divine Beasts

The four divine beasts are the original elemental masters from the primordial world. There is the Wind Element from the White Tiger. There is the Water Element from the Azure Dragon. There is the Fire Element from the Vermillion Bird. Finally there is the Earth Element from the Black Tortoise. The way of the Heavens is to understand nature itself, So what better way to learn techniques then from the Divine Beasts themselves.

Each Divine Technique can be learned and trained at different stages in a Cultivators journey. A Cultivator may learn a new Divine Technique at lvl 3, 6, 11, and 17.

Dragon's Claw: The Cultivator forms a claw of Ice around their hands and each normal attack now also deals 1 d6 of ice damage to the target.

Tiger's Prowl: The Cultivator infuses their steps with Wind and is able to jump 2x the normal distance and land without making a sound.

Vermillion Flame: The Cultivator summons a pair of Flaming Wings that grant the ability to slow their fall and knockdown anyone at the landing within 5 m.

Earthen Shell:  The Cultivator creates a dome of Earth around a target that has the hp of 5. This can help defend or trap depending on the target.

Heavenly Tribulation Lightning

As a Cultivator gets stronger and takes more control of the world around them. They will be punished by the Heavens for going against the natural order of the Universe. There are 3 Major tribulations in a Cultivators progression towards the Dao. The Tribulations are from lvl 7 to lvl 8, lvl 13 to lvl 14, and lvl 19 to lvl 20. Each tribulation will will require the cultivator to roll a d6 per level and take that much lightning damage.

Any Refining Arts that increase Constitution are ignored by Tribulation Lightning.

lvl 7 -> lvl 8 ( 7 d6 rolls of lightning damage)

lvl 13 -> lvl 14  (13 d6 rolls of lightning damage)

lvl 19 -> lvl 20 (19 d6 of lightning damage)

Heavenly Shift

Heavenly Shift is a movement technique designed for the purpose of taking everyone's gaze away from your allies. This movement allows you to teleport within a range of 30ft and taunt all those within a 3ft distance of your location. The Cultivator may spend ki points to continue the teleport locations. after the initial teleport each ki point allows the cultivator another round of teleporting and taunting within 30m of the previous location.

Golden Core Realm

Golden Core Realm

Surviving the first tribulation of lightning the inner ki of a Cultivator condenses into an orb of pure golden energy. This new orb allows the use of two new abilities. One ability is the Art of Sword Flying and the Second ability is the Ability to use Divine Sense.

Art of Flying Swords

With the growth of spiritual ki in the Cultivators body they gain the ability to focus their energy through an enchanted sword and ride the sword through the sky.

Divine Sense

Divine Sense is the ability to have your spiritual power inspect the area around you instead of using your 5 senses.

Divine Sense has the same ability as Clairvoyance but allows both hearing and vision.

Divine Sense can be used to also communicate with people Telepathically.

Divine Sense can be used 3 times a day and be reset after a long rest.

Earth Immortal Realm

Ageless and Faceless

A Cultivator in the Earth Immortal Realm no longer has to worry about aging while on the material plane. The body of an Earth Immortal is, as the name says, as lasting of the Earth itself. This includes immunity to all the material planes poisons. An Earth Immortal also gets the ability to change their shape at will. They are unable to transform into anything larger than themselves, but may shift their appearance to that of themselves or smaller in size.

Heavenly Immortal

The Final hurdle a Cultivator must face from Tribulation is the strength of their Dao. After reaching lvl 17 the Cultivator must have succeeded in understanding one of the many truths of the Universe. The many Daos allow the transformation of the reality in the area around the Cultivator which grants the Cultivator their own Domain.

Domain:

Depending on the chosen Dao will allow the Cultivator to always have a an area of 5 ft around the caster in the element of their Dao. The Cultivator in unaffected by their own Domain which is the largest benefit. For example:  Water Dao allows the spread of Ice or Water along the ground as the Cultivator moves.  The Dao of Time slows all those who enter within 5 ft of the Cultivator , halving their speed and making their attacks at disadvantage.
