Base Class: Sorcerer
You are imbued with the savage majesty of nature. Perhaps you are descended from a mythical bloodline, subject to a ritual of the wilds, or blessed directly from a spirit of nature. Whatever your origin, the power of the land and elements bend to your will.
Nature itself has manifest upon you, somehow altering your form or mannerisms. At your option, you can pick from or roll on the Wildweaver Quirks table to create a quirk for your character.
Wildweaver Quirks
d6 | Quirk |
---|---|
1 | Your eyes glow with brilliant green energy. |
2 | When you sneeze, you sneeze out a cloud of petals. |
3 | Your ears are furry and twitch uncontrollably when scratched. |
4 | If you fall asleep on open ground, roots emerge from your flesh and dig into the earth. They retract upon waking. |
5 | You feel an uncontrollable urge to howl at the moon upon seeing it for the first time in a night. |
6 | Flowers turn toward you when you sing. |
Woodland Magic
Your bond with nature allows you to learn spells from the druid class. When your Spellcasting feature lets you learn or replace a sorcerer cantrip or a sorcerer spell of 1st level or higher, you can choose the new spell from the druid spell list or the sorcerer spell list. You must otherwise obey all the restrictions for selecting the spell, and it becomes a sorcerer spell for you.
Wildheart
You learn two 1st-level spells from the druid spell list. These spells count as sorcerer spells for you.
In addition, you can speak, read, and write Sylvan. You may also choose one of the following options:
Animal Handling
You gain proficiency in Animal Handling.
Nature
You gain proficiency in Nature.
Survival
You gain proficiency in Survival.
Primordial Power
Starting at 6th level, when casting a spell which deals Fire, Cold, Lightning, Poison, or Acid damage, you may spend 1 sorcery point and change the spell's damage type to Fire, Cold, Lightning, Poison, or Acid. Additionally, you may add your Charisma modifier to one damage roll made as part of the affected spell.
Wild Flight
Starting at 14th level, you can use a bonus action to manifest a pair of wings from your back. While the wings are present, you have a flying speed of 30 feet. The wings last until you’re incapacitated, you die, or you dismiss them as a bonus action.
The wings may appear like the wings of a bird, bat, or insect.
Force of Nature
Starting at 18th level, you can use a bonus action to make yourself a vessel of nature's wrath - crackling with vivid green energy. In this form you gain resistance to all damage and may use Primordial Power without expending any Sorcery Points. In addition, Primordial Power now adds triple your Charisma modifier in damage and includes the Force damage type.
You remain in this form for 1 minute. It ends early if you are incapacitated, if you die, or if you dismiss it as a bonus action.
