Base Class: Wizard
Eschewing the stereotypical tower, these wizards learn magic for the purpose of connecting to the communities they're in, and not for it's own sake.
Where the People Are
You gain proficiency in the Persuasion and Insight skills.
In this Together
Beginning at 2nd level, when you cast a spell using a first-level spell slot that has a range of Self (and don't also list an area of effect), you may also target another willing creature within 30 feet. You may use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier. You regain all uses of this ability when you finish a long rest.
Keep Your Friends Close
While you are within 10 feet of a friendly creature of at least small size, you have a +2 bonus to AC and all saving throws.
Speak Without Words
At 10th level, you add the Telepathic Bond spell to your spellbook, if it is not there already. You can cast Telepathic Bond without expending a spell slot. Once you cast Telepathic Bond in this way, you can't do so again until you finish a short or long rest, though you can still cast it normally using an available spell slot.
Sunday Feast
You may cast Heroes' Feast. The casting time is increased to 1 hour, and in place of the material components, you need to use cook's utensils and enough food for a simple meal for 12 people. Once you use this ability, you can't use it again for 7 days.
