The Blade Dancer is a master of finesse and fine movements. They go from one target to the next without falter, finding their way through their elegant movements to sever the threads of whoever crosses them. Their fancy footwork allows them to weave through enemies' attacks effortlessly.
Elegant Dancer
You let the energy of life flow through you to guide your weapons and your body forward. Starting at the third level, you gain the following benefits:
- You gain proficiency in the Acrobatics skill if you don't already have it.
- When targeted by a melee attack, you may contest the attack with a Dexterity (Acrobatics) check. If the result of your check beats their attack roll, you gain +2 AC.
- Any weapon you have proficiency in is considered a Finesse weapon.
Two Weapon Blocking
While dual wielding, you can create an X with your weapons to act as a defensive block. Gain +2 AC while dual wielding, starting at the 7th level.
Wind Soul
At level 11, as a bonus action, you can do a Dexterity (Acrobatics) check. Your check's value, rounded down to the nearest five, is how many feet you can move if it would put you within 5 feet of an enemy.
Additionally, you gain expertise in Acrobatics.
One with the Leaf
You have come to a clear understanding of what it means to be a Blade Dancer. As such, as of level 15, you may now weave your way around ranged attacks and ranged attack spells, gaining +2 AC when your Dexterity (Acrobatics) check beats their attack roll as a reaction.
