Base Class: Blood Hunter
An order of bloodhunters who take a little portion of undead blood and instill it into their own bodies and infuse it with unholy resurrection magic then uses their own lifeforce as a catalyst to make the undead fight for them. Whatever your reason, you either despise the undead from something they've done to you and found this order from either by being saved by one of its members or were raised to despise them within the order. Either way, you are now an undead master and use your craft to save others from the undead who harm the populace.
Servi Immortuous
Upon reaching 3rd level the cursed blood in your veins awakens granting you the power to rip the very souls from a slain enemies body creating your own undead army which gives you the following benefits:
- You gain access to a pool of mana in which to summon your undead, the number of points in the pool equal 10 times your Bloodhunter level (So level 3 you would have 30 points)
- Whenever you find a corpse you can attempt to retrieve the soul from it to add to your army, when ever you do this you have to roll an INT check + your proficieny bonus. You have three chances to try to raise them, the DC is 10 plus the creatures CR (Minimum of 10)
- You can hold as many shadows as you wish in your shadow; also, you can assign different shadows to people so long as they are within 1 miles radius of you, if you attempt to send one on an unwilling subject you must make a contested INT check with the creature you are trying to shadow, or you can send a shadow to a specific area that you know of or that the shadow knows of. If you assign a shadow to a person, you can issue a command to the shadow, such as "Protect this person" or "attempt to kill this person if they don't do what I say" if the shadow is triggered by any command, you lose mana equal to that shadow's CR level until the task is complete or the shadow is defeated.
- When summoning shadows to aid you in a fight, you can only summon a creature equal to or less than your current blood hunter level so 1 CR 3 creature at this level would cost 30 mana or you could summon 6 CR 1/2 creatures (Each costing 5 mana)
Rite of Necromancer
while the rite is active you gain the following benefits:
- You have resistance to necrotic damage
- your weapon deals one additional hemocraft die of rite damage when you hit a living creature
- undead have a difficult time distinguishing you from other undead giving them disadvantage on melee attacks against you.
One With The Immortuous
Overtime studying the combination of Hemocraft and Necromantic arts you've learned your blood can do more than just raise simple undead soilders, they are an extension of you. Whenever you have an undead out you can spend 10 minutes conducting a ritual to put your very self into undead for up as many hours equal to your consistution modifier. When you enter your undead you gain the following effects:
- Your original body goes into a comatose state and you cannot see, hear, move, or feel anything in that body.
- While in your undead you gain all the previous knowledge, proficencies, languages, martial skills, movement bonuses, and combat abilites it knew in life (Unless CR is too high then some abilities may be knocked down)
Among the Umbra
As you grow in your necromantic arts you become more like them meaning you no longer need to eat, drink, breathe, nor sleep. instead of sleeping for a long rest you can sit immobile keeping watch, reading a book, and just doing leisure activities for just 4 hours. You also can no longer be poisoned and you are immune to poison damage but you are vulnerable to Radiant damage and if someone casts the turn undead spell whether friend or foe you must make the saving throw for it. finally, when you fight undead creatures not under your control the undead do not recognize you as foe until after you attack them even then they still must make a Wisdom saving throw, or otherwise, they must use their attack on another creature they can see within range.
Brand of the Immortuous
Your Brand of Castigation seals your symbol upon your opponent's chest so that where ever they go your army may follow. When you mark an opponent with this you can summon as many shadows equal to your INT modifier onto the opponent so long as they are on the same plane of existence as you.
Power of Immortuous Master
when you reach 18th level you learn to hold exceptionally poweful undead, once you gain this ability you can hold one Undead that's CR is equal to your character level and you can summon it once without taking damage but once used you must roll a percentile dice if it is above 40% you can never use this summon again and must find a new summon as powerful. Regardless of percentile dice you also become weakened: your Str score drops to 5 and movement speed is halfed and everytime you summon a shadow you take 1d4 radiant damage for 1d6 days.
