Base Class: Wizard
A lost school of wizardry, focused on the nature of reflections and connections of the ethereal. Scholars believe this archaic magic was thought to be used in the twilight of the age of the ancients before The Severance.
Reflective Misdirect
Beginning at 2nd level you are able to misdirect enemy attacks with a magical reflection. As a reaction when a creature attacks you, you can impose disadvantage by conjuring a mirrored double to take the hit instead, when an attack misses in this way you are able to move 5 feet in any direction without provoking opportunity attacks. You are able to use this a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus rounded up (minimum of 1) and cannot be used again until a long rest.
The Looking Glass
Beginning at 2nd level, as an action you can touch a mirror to connect it to a network through the ethereal plane. You can connect a number of mirrors at the same time equal to your proficiency bonus. While a creature is touching a bonded mirror it can see through any of the connected mirrors and telepathically communicate with a creature on the other side that is also touching the mirror, provided both creatures share at least one language.
As you reach 10th level, you can as an action perceive the surrounding area of any of the mirrors connected in this way as if you were on the other side. During this time you are blinded and deafened to your own surroundings.
Potent Reflection
As you reach 6th level you add the disguise self spell to your spellbook, if it wasn't there already.
When you cast this spell to take the shape of a creature you have interacted with for at least one minute you can ignore the normal limitations of the spell regarding height and number of limbs, additionally creatures have disadvantage on intelligence (investigation) checks to dicern your disguise.
Man in The Mirror
At 10th level, you gain the ability to walk into a medium sized reflection as if using the meld into stone spell, disappearing into the reflection. When a creature looks into the mirror you can appear in the mirror as that creature. Additionally you can travel through the network of mirrors connected via The Looking Glass feature or appear outside another reflection up to 500 feet away. When entered, you can stay in the ethereal plane up to 5 minutes, after which you are pushed into an unoccupied space. You can use this feature up to your intelligence modifier (Minimum of 1) and can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
Smoke and Mirrors
.At 14th level, When a creatures make a ranged attack towards you, you can use your reaction to trap the attack in the ethereal plane. Once an object is in the ethereal plane you can call it back as an action and make a ranged attack of your own. If an attack is stored for longer than one day, you gain a point of exhaustion and the attack vanishes from the plane. This feature cannot be used on spells of 8th level or higher. You can use this feature up to a number equal to your intelligence modifier (minimum of 1) and cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.
