Base Class: Rogue
You are a brute, a physically intimidating outlaw or thug that uses their strength to intimidate and push around their enemies and targets. A brigand is just as sneaky as their lithe counterparts in roguery, but they also pack a powerful punch, and are trained in a wider array of weaponry.

Bonus Proficiencies
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with Martial Weapons and in the Strength (Athletics) skill. If you already have proficiency in the Athletics skill, you may choose another proficiency from the Rogue class options. You also gain the ability to grapple creatures that are up to two sizes larger than you, rather than one size larger, so long as the target is not gargantuan in size. Additionally, you can apply your extra damage from your Sneak Attack damage on strength-based weapon attacks, not just those made with finesse or ranged weaponry.
Hold Up
Starting at 3rd level, you have gained the ability to better control your opponents' movement on the battlefield. When you hit an opponent with an attack of opportunity reaction, the target's movement speed is reduced to 0. If you attempt to grapple the recipient of your attack of opportunity on your next turn, you have advantage on that grapple check.
Extra Attack
Starting at 9th level, when you take the attack action on your turn, you can make two attacks instead of one.
Rough Up
At 13th level, you become more brutal in your grappling of other creatures. When you successfully grapple an opponent, you use your weaponry to aid you. Upon successfully grappling an opponent you can roll the damage die of your equipped melee weapon and deal damage to your grappled opponent as if you had hit them with a melee attack. You cannot add your Sneak Attack damage to this instance of damage.
Living Shield
Starting at 17th level, you become a master of controlling your grappled foe. When you are grappling an opponent, you gain a +2 bonus to your AC. Additionally, when you are hit by an attack roll, you can use your reaction to attempt to redirect the attack towards a creature you are grappling. You must make a Strength (Athletics) check, and if you surpass the attack roll of the opponent attacking you, you redirect the attack to the creature you are grappling. If the attack roll beats the AC of your grappled creature, they take the hit instead.
