Emotional Performance

3rd-level College of the Old Dirt Road feature

As an action, you can play a rousing song, filled with your deepest truth. Describe a song you sing with one simple message or idea. Until the beginning of your next turn, any ally within 60 feet may add a use of bardic inspiration if they are acting in accord with your song. Any one acting against the song must deduct your Bardic Inspiration die from their rolls. You may use this feature once per long rest, or if you expend a spell slot of 2nd level or higher to use this feature again. 

Bonus Proficiencies

You gain proficiency in improvised weapons and firearms. You may choose one of the following skills: Animal Handling, Athletics, History, or Religion. You can add your charisma modifier to the chosen skill. 

Popular Following

Your skill in performance has garnered a large following, and you have great skill in performing in front of large crowds. 

When you are performing in front of at least 25 people for at least one minute, you get advantage on your performance check. If you are performing for at least 100 people, you place the crowd under the "charmed" condition. You can ask the crowd to assist you with any task which they could reasonably assist, such as handing over valuable items they have on hand or delivering a member of the crowd to you by forced crowd surfing.  

Crossover Hit

Now that you've mastered your own abilities, you can expand into new genres. After a long rest, choose one language, tool or skill. You have proficiency in the tool or skill, or fluency in the language for the day. In order to retain a language permanently, you must practice it with someone else fluent in the language for at least 2 hours a day for 5 days in a row. In order to retain the skill or tool proficiency permanently, you must have 8 successful uses of that skill or tool across three days in a row. If you choose a new skill or language while attempting to train in a proficiency or fluency, you will need to start over. 

Over Produced

Choose one type of damage, such as piercing, fire, psychic or acid. When causing damage of that type with a bard spell, you can ignore the targets resistance to the damage, including that induced through a spell or effect like Absorb Elements or Infernal Constitution.  You gain resistance to this type of damage. You have advantage on saving throws against exhaustion. Your fans know all the words to sing along. If you have a fan nearby who has seen you cast any spell before, they can use their reaction to perform the somatic and verbal components of your spells.
