Beginning at 3rd level, pick either Defense or Protection fighting styles to replace your previous style.
Defensive Stance
Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you can enter this stance as a bonus action. While in this stance you gain advantage to Str and Con checks as well as saving throws and +2 to AC, but your movement speed is reduced to 50%. Additional Fighting Style
At 7th level, add either the Defense or Protection fighting style whichever you do not already have.

Beginning at 10th level, if you must make a saving throw for a spell, you may use your CON modifier instead.
Tough as Nails
Your shield is so natural to you and feels like an additional part of your body. You are the hardiest of individuals and develop healthy habits.
At 15th level, gain +1 AC and 2 Max HP for every level of Stalwart Defender.
Fullmetal Defender
At 18th level, you encapsulate your entire body in 1 inch of magical metal that allows you to breath and move while inside of it. You are immune to all bludgeoning, slashing, and piercing, damage. This air tight area can not be penetrated by magic, however, cold, fire, lightning and thunder will affect it accordingly. Gain resistance to all other magical damage. You can maintain this state for a number of rounds equal to your Con modifier and may not use this again until you finish a day's worth of rest (24hrs).
