Gladiator

Gladiators battle for the entertainment of raucous crowds. Some gladiators are brutal pit fighters who treat each match as a life-or-death struggle, while others are professional duelists who command huge fees but rarely fight to the death.

All gladiators have undergone intense martial training giving them peerless athletic ability. As a result they prefer light armors so that they may move well. They are used to performing and become inspired when fighting for a crowd. Furthermore their experience in life or death situations give them an edge when many would falter.

Gladiators Action

Your martial training gives you peerless athletic ability.

While you are not wearing heavy or medium armor you may take a dash, shover, or grapple action as a bonus action.

Approval of the crowd

Gladiators live for the exaltation of the crowd.

When you pass a performance check you become inspired.

Veterans edge

Being used to life or death situations gives you an edge when many would falter.

While below half health you have +2 on attack and damage roles.

Pollice Verso

The crowd calls for blood.

You gain an additional damage die when attacking prone creatures.

Arena Champion

You have fought many battles with the odds stacked against you and have become accustomed to fighting with multiple foes.

Your melee attacks gain an additional target.

Arena Legend

A legend of the arena your actions have transcended into myth.

Three times per day without rolling you can automatically succeed on an athletics check, hit with an attack, or deal maximum damage.
