Druid
Base Class: Druid

While many druids are guardians of the wilds and of the plants that live there, only a select few have taken to the floral aspect of your druidic responsibilities quite as fervently as you have. You have experimented with shaping your form into that of the plants you love, and you have managed to come to a middle ground - you have gained the ability to transform into sentient plant creatures.

Green Thumb

At 2nd level, your skin takes on a hardy, root-like appearance. You become resistant to poison damage, and you have advantage on saving throws against the poisoned condition. In addition, when you use your Wild Shape, you can assume the shape of a plant creature you have seen before. Finally, you have advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks while in undergrowth, trees, or other plant-like terrain. In addition, when you use your Wild Shape, you can assume the shape of a creature with the plant type you have seen before.

Circle Forms

The rites of your circle grant you the ability to transform into more dangerous forms. Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Wild Shape to transform into a beast or plant with a challenge rating as high as 1. You ignore the Max. CR column of the Beast Shapes table, but must abide by the other limitations there.

Starting at 6th level, you can transform into a beast or plant with a challenge rating as high as your druid level divided by 3, rounded down.

Thorny Strike

Starting at 6th level, your attacks in beast and plant form count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical weapon damage.

Blooming Roots

Starting at 6th level, your roots allow you to draw in energy from the sun like other plants. Whenever you finish a short rest, if you were in direct sunlight for the entire duration, you can add your Wisdom modifier instead of your Constitution modifier to the amount of hit points your regain from each Hit Die you spend.

In addition, you can choose to regain one expended spell slot of a level equal to or lower than your proficiency modifier. You can’t use this feature again until you finish a long rest.

Primal Wild Shape

At 10th level, you can expend two uses of Wild Shape at the same time to transform into a treant. However, while Wild Shaped in this way, you cannot use the Animate Trees action.

Heart of the Forest

At 14th level, your kinship with the forest grows further. You become immune to poison damage and the poisoned condition. In addition, the Speak with Plants, Wrath of Nature, and Tree Stride spells are always prepared for you. Finally, when you are in your Wild Shape, you can cast one of those three spells without using a spell slot and without requiring somatic or verbal components. Once you cast a spell in this way, you can’t do so again until you use your Wild Shape feature again.
