Base Class: Fighter
Crusaders are warriors who fight for a holy cause. They do not swear to sacred oaths, as paladins do, but rather let their religious and spiritual beliefs guide them alone. Crusaders manifest divine power in their fighting style, but do not perform rituals or cast spells.
Blessed Crusade
Starting when you select this archetype at 3rd-level, when you use your Second Wind feature, you regain hit points equal to 1d6 + your Wisdom or your Charisma modifier (whichever is higher, minimum 1 hit point) at the start of your next turn. Until the end of your next turn, the first time you hit with a weapon attack during each turn, the attack deals 1d6 bonus radiant damage.
In addition, when you use your Action Surge feature, you can Dash as part of the additional action, and if you use it to take the Attack action, you can make one extra weapon attack as part of that action.
When you reach 10th level in this class, the dice used by this feature for damage and healing increase to d8s, and they increase again to d10s at 18th level.
Disciple of Faith
Also at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in your choice of one of the following skills: History, Insight, Medicine, Persuasion, or Religion.
Zealous Will
Starting at 7th level, you gain proficiency in Wisdom saving throws and you have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, cursed, frightened, or possessed.
Promised Salvation
At 10th level, your divine blessings shield you from harm and failure. When you use your Indomitable feature, you add your Wisdom or Charisma modifier (whichever is higher, minimum +1) to both saving throw rolls, and you gain a number of temporary hit points equal to half your fighter level.
After using your Indomitable feature, you also gain advantage on your next weapon attack or saving throw before the end of your next turn.
Pure of Heart
At 15th level, you gain the ability to cleanse yourself of weakness and corruption. When you use your Second Wind feature, you can end one effect on yourself that is causing you to be charmed, frightened, or poisoned.
Hero of Providence
Starting at 18th level, you can use your Second Wind feature twice, instead of only once, before finishing a short or long rest. When you use your Second Wind feature, you gain the benefits of a shield of faith spell until the end of your next turn.
