College of Legends

Tales of great heroes and acts of pure virtue often resound through history to inspire those of the future. Bards of the College of Legends focus on such tales, reciting stories, sonnets and songs and recreating artworks of those same heroes that have come before, while hoping to witness new tales they might pen themselves. Bards of the College of Legend use these tales to inspire and bolster their allies.

Spark of Legends

3rd-level College of Legends feature

You can inspire your allies with tales of yore, bolstering their efforts and mending their wounds. When a creature uses a Bardic Inspiration die granted by you, they regain a number of hit points equal to the number rolled on the die. In addition, they gain a bonus to their Armor Class until the end of their next turn. This bonus is equal to your half of your proficiency modifier rounded down (minimum of +1).

Well-Versed

3rd-level College of Legends feature

You are a true expert on the history stories of heroes and legends. You gain proficiency in the History skill. You double your proficiency bonus on skill checks made with this skill.

Heroic Spirit

6th-level College of Legends feature

Your mastery over the tales of those same heroes can empower those who may yet walk the same path. As an action, you can cast heroism on a number of willing creatures equal to your charisma modifier that you can see within 30 feet. The spell lasts for its full duration, and you do not need to maintain concentration, but this effect can be dispelled as if it were a 1 level spell.

When you use this feature, you cannot do so again until you have finished a long rest.

Invigorating Legend

14th-level College of Legends feature

You take such pride in your tales that you gain vitality as your allies gain strength. When another creature gains hit points from your Spark of Legend feature, you regain an equal number of hitpoints.
