Base Class: Barbarian
For some barbarians, life is only meaningful if you're constantly risking it. These barbarians travel to practically uninhabitable places, such as at the peaks of snowy mountains or the middle of dry deserts, and train to be able to conquer them. Able to face the toughest of challenges, they journey to reach their limits.
When making a Path of the Extremes barbarian, think about where they've traveled and what challenges they've overcome.
Expert Mobility
Starting at 3rd level, you have honed your body to be able to traverse any landscape. Moving across difficult terrain doesn't cost you extra movement, and you have advantage on Strength (Athletics) checks made to climb, jump, or swim.
Primal Adaptation
At 6th level, your body is able to regulate its temperature extraordinarily well. You don't suffer the effects of extreme heat or extreme cold, as described in the Dungeon Master’s Guide. In addition, you and allies within 10 feet of you gain resistance to both cold damage and fire damage while you're raging.
Versatile Athleticism
Starting at 10th level, you are well versed in all forms of movement. You gain a climbing speed equal to your walking speed, as well as a swimming speed equal to your walking speed.
Master of Heights
At 14th level, you can conquer any drop. You have resistance to fall damage, which turns into immunity while you are raging. In addition, if you fall onto another creature, it takes bludgeoning damage equal to the damage you would have taken without resistance or immunity.
