Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

"Favored" by the gods, you worship or otherwise have relations with an entire pantheon, falling in and out of favor as easily as you breathe. Based on the world of Hades by Supergiant Games.

Domain Spells

At 1st level, you gain access to the domain spells listed below. Once you gain a domain spell, you always have it prepared, and it doesn't count against the number of spells you can prepare each day.

If you have a domain spell that doesn't appear on the cleric spell list, the spell is nonetheless a cleric spell for you.

Bonus Proficiencies

Starting at 1st level, you gain proficiency in heavy armor and martial weapons.

Divine Armory

Also at 1st level, you can use your action to magically obtain a weapon from a divine armory. You can choose the form that this weapon takes each time you create it, and if it would normally require ammo, it does not. You may only have one of these weapons summoned at a time; if you attempt to summon a second one, the first disappears.

Channel Divinity: Divine Boon

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to call upon your Favored God, further empowering yourself and your Divine Armory. The effects of this Channel Divinity depend on which god(s) whose favor you currently hold, as noted on the Favored God table.

Aphrodite

As a bonus action, you can use your Channel Divinity to radiate an unnatural beauty for one minute. Once during this duration, you can attempt to charm a number of creatures up to your Wisdom modifier within 60 feet as an action. The targeted creatures must make a Charisma saving throw or be charmed until the end of your next turn.

Ares

As a bonus action, you can use your Channel Divinity to radiate an unnatural fury for one minute. Once during this duration, you can attempt to frighten a number of creatures up to your Wisdom modifier within 60 feet as an action. The targeted creatures must make a Wisdom saving throw or be frightened until the end of your next turn.

Artemis

As a bonus action, you can use your Channel Divinity to make your eyes glow with a sharp focus for one minute, and you can mark the a creature within 60 feet. The first time you hit this creature with a weapon attack using your Divine Armory weapon, the attack counts as a critical hit.

Athena

As a bonus action, you can use your Channel Divinity to radiate an unnatural calm for one minute. For the duration, when you hit with your Divine Armory weapon, you can gain temporary hit points equal to half your level (rounded down).

Demeter

As a bonus action, you can use your Channel Divinity to cause a wintery wind to whip around your Divine Armory weapon for one minute. For the duration, when you hit with your Divine Armory weapon, you can force the target to spend 2 feet of movement for every 1 foot it moves until the start of your next turn.

Dionysus

As a bonus action, you can use your Channel Divinity to cause the sounds and scents of revelry to surround your Divine Armory weapon for one minute. For the duration, when you hit with your Divine Armory weapon, you can force the target to make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed saving throw, the target has disadvantage on its next attack roll.

Hades

As a bonus action, you can use your Channel Divinity to wrap yourself in shadows, becoming invisible for one minute. This effect ends if you attack or cast a spell.

Hermes

As a bonus action, you can use your Channel Divinity to cause a pair of tiny wings to hover by your Divine Armory weapon for one minute. For the duration, when you hit with your Divine Armory weapon, you can move equal to your movement speed. This movement does not provoke Attacks of Opportunity.

Poseidon

As a bonus action, you can use your Channel Divinity to cause streams of water to ripple from your Divine Armory weapon for one minute. For the duration, when you hit with your Divine Armory weapon, you can knock the target 10 feet away from you.

Zeus

As a bonus action, you can use your Channel Divinity to cause sparks of electricity to emanate from your Divine Armory weapon for one minute. For the duration, when you hit with your Divine Armory weapon, you deal 1d6 lightning damage to a creature of your choice within 10 feet of the target (including the target itself). This damage increases by 1d6 at 5th (2d6), 11th (3d6), and 17th level (4d6) in this class.

Death Defiance

Starting at 6th level, when you or a creature you can see within 60 feet of you would be reduced to 0 hit points, you may use your reaction to negate the blow's lethality, setting the target to 1 hit point instead. You may use this feature once per long rest.

Divine Strike

At 8th level, you gain the ability to infuse your weapon strikes with divine energy. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 radiant damage to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8.

Duo Boon

Starting at 17th level, you may have two Favored Gods at the same time. After each long rest, roll three times on the Favored Gods table, and choose two of the gods you rolled to gain the favor of. In addition, you may cast a spell from either Favored God's list of 3rd level or lower without expending a spell slot once per long rest.

Both your Favored Gods' Divine Boons can also be used at the same time with your Channel Divinity.
