Base Class: Fighter
Quick, agile, and deadly, the fighters who follow this path are known for their incredible feats of swiftness. Dancing in the battlefield, they move around like mercury, dodging attacks and cutting down their opponents. This style of fighting comes from an ancient elven tradition which has been improved upon for centuries, great masters have continuously improved upon the techniques, and passed on the knowledge to their students.
Nowadays, masters of the blade are extremely rare, they often seclude themselves from the world and pursue spiritual enlightenment away from worldly distractions. They offer aid rarely, and often when they can test their skill with the blade against powerful opponents. To see one of the masters do battle is truly a wonder, weaving swiftly in between their adversaries and executing them with single strikes.
Swift as the Wind
Starting at 3rd level when you choose this archetype, you can take the Dodge and Disengage actions as a bonus action, as you have learned how to follow the rhythm of battle and predict the attacks of your adversaries. Additionally, you can use your Dexterity score, ability, and skills instead of Strength score, ability, and skills for purposes of jumps.
At 10th level, your agility allows you to move with unprecedented grace, increasing your speed by 10, and your running high and long jump distances are doubled.
However, none of these benefits apply if you are wielding a heavy weapon, wearing medium or heavy armor, using a shield, or are encumbered.
Blade Bloom
Starting at 7th level, your training and skill allow you to cut down your foes with a hail of attacks. When you use your bonus action to make an attack with a Double-Bladed Scimitar or a one-handed sword as per Two-Weapon fighting, you can make a number of attacks equal to the number of attacks you can make with the Attack action.
Additionally, when you use your Second Wind feature, you can make a single weapon attack against a creature within range as part of the same bonus action.
However, if any benefits from Swift as the Wind do not apply, none of the benefits from this feature apply either.
Purity of Mind
At 10th level, your mind has been honed by meditation and training. You gain proficiency in Wisdom saving throws and you have advantage on saving throws against any effect that would inflict the charmed or frightened condition.
Flash of Steel
At 15th level, your mastery of the blade allows you to swiftly respond to enemy attacks. When a creature within 5 feet of you makes a weapon attack against you or another creature within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to impose a penalty to the attack equal to your proficiency bonus, you can do this after you see the roll, but before the DM determines whether the attack hits or misses. If the attack misses, you can make a single weapon attack against one creature within 5 feet of you as part of the same reaction.
However, if any benefits from Swift as the Wind do not apply, none of the benefits from this feature apply either.
One with the Blade
At 18th level, you have attained unparalleled mastery in combat. Like the masters of old, your swiftness, grace, and deadliness are legendary.
You get a special reaction that you can take once on every creature's turn. You can use this special reaction only to make an opportunity attack or use Flash of Steel, and you can't use it on the same turn that you take your normal reaction.
Additionally, after you use your reaction to make an opportunity attack or use Flash of Steel, you can move up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks as part of the same reaction.
However, if any benefits from Swift as the Wind do not apply, none of the benefits from this feature apply either.
