Those who consider themselves members of the Circle of Stone revere the basic foundation of nature upon which all life walks. Stone Druids will often seek mountainous areas or even dwell underground, and act as steadfast and reliable as the rock they are so attuned to. As a member of the Circle of Stone, you can summon standing stones that allow you to control the battle field, damaging foes and healing allies.

Standing Stone

2nd-level Circle of Stone feature

Your earthly connection helps raise up the powerful magics locked deep within the earth. You can use a bonus action to summon a standing stone. This stone is a medium-sized object, being roughly 5 feet in height. The standing stone has an AC of 15, a damage threshold of 5, is immune to psychic and poison damage and has a number of hitpoints equal to your druid level multiplied by 4. A creature can hide behind the stone and use it as half cover. The standing stone remains for one minute, until it is destroyed, until you use your bonus action to summon another standing stone or until you dismiss it as a bonus action. You can summon a number of standing stones equal to your wisdom modifier, and regain uses when you finish a long rest.

Additionally, when you summon the standing stone, it has a series of runes that enable it to expel powerful magic. When you first summon a stone on a turn, choose one of the following stone types which provide you with additional abilities.

Vital Stone. As a bonus action, you can cause the stone to exert a wave of healing magic. Creatures of your choice that are within 10 feet of the standing stone regain 1d6 hit points.

Volcanic Stone. As a bonus action, you can cause the stone to pulse with damaging energy. Creatures of your choice that are within 10 feet of the stone must make a Dexterity saving throw against your Druid Spell Save DC. If they fail, they take 1d8 fire damage, and half as much if they succeed.

Quaking Stone. As a bonus action, you can cause the stone to send out a wave of force. Creatures of your choice that are within 10 feet of the standing stone must make a Strength saving throw against your Druid spell save DC. On a failed save, the creature is pushed 10 feet away from the stone.

Earth Glide

6th-level Circle of Stone feature

You can use your connection to the rock beneath you to move with little effort. While you are touching the ground, your movement speed increases by 20 feet, and you can ignore movement penalties caused by difficult terrain.

Stone Empowerment

10th-level Circle of Stone feature

Your connection with the earth has bolstered your physical form and allowed you to see the world in a different way. You gain resistance to bludgeoning damage, and gain tremorsense out to a distance of 60 feet.

Might of Stone

14th-level Circle of Stone feature

You have strengthened your connection with the earth to such a degree, the power you draw from it becomes immeasurable. You are able to summon two standing stones at a time, activating their effects in the same bonus action. Additionally, each of your standing stone types gain the following benefits:

Vital Stone. Healing provided by your vital stone improves to 2d6.

Volcanic Stone. Fire damage dealt by your volcanic stone improves to 2d8.

Quaking Stone. Creatures that are pushed by your quaking stone are pushed 15 feet instead of 10 feet and are knocked prone.
