Base Class: Barbarian
Sometimes power isn’t found solely within oneself, or within the arms of some otherworldly force, but rather found within the bonds shared between companions. Barbarians who walk down the path of the Pack Sworn take this to heart, and elect to take their power from the companions, family and loved ones they travel with. Truly the real rage is the friends they made along the way. Pack Sworn Barbarians use their rage to bolster their allies, making them stronger as a result, turning their fury into tactical prowess, raw strength or boundless resistance.
Force of Personality
With your pack behind you, there is little stopping you from boundless confidence, or delivering grim reminders of what may befall those who might harm the ones you care for most. Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in Persuasion or Intimidation, chosen when you gain this feature. Your proficiency bonus is doubled when making checks with this skill.
Intimidation
Choosing this, the Pack Sworn Barbarian gains expertise in Intimidation
Persuasion
Choosing this, the Pack Sworn Barbarian gains expertise in Persuasion
Empowering Rage
At 3rd level, the power of your rage invigorates your closest companions. While you’re raging, up to three other willing creatures you can see within 30 feet gain one of the following benefits, chosen when you begin raging.
Striking fury. The chosen creatures gain a bonus to the damage of their weapon and spell attacks equal to your Rage bonus
Bolstering fury. The chosen creatures gain temporary hit points equal to your Barbarian level at the start of their turn.
Strength in Numbers
At 6th level, you use your ties with your pack to power through the toughest of trials, remaining strong for them or because of them. When you make a saving throw, you can choose gain a bonus to the roll equal to the number of allied creatures within 30 feet (maximum +5). You can apply this bonus after the roll, but before the result is determined by the DM. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain the number of uses when you finish a long rest.
Greater Empowering Rage
At 10th level, you push your fury even further to better protect and embolden your allies. The number of creatures you can empower with your rage doubles from three to six, and you are able to choose two benefits to grant to your allies. Additional benefits gained at this level include:
Shielding Fury. The chosen creatures gain a bonus to their AC equal to your Rage bonus.
Steadfast Fury. The chosen creatures gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage.
Vengeful Strike
At 14 level, you value your comrades to such a degree that none may survive your wrath. When a creature empowered by your Rage takes damage from an attack made or effect caused by another creature you can see, you can designate them as the target of your vengeance as a reaction. Until the end of your next turn, that creature gains vulnerability to damage dealt by you. If the creature would ordinarily be immune to the damage of your attack, they instead lose the immunity, allowing you to deal normal damage. Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.
