The Predator

The Predators are known to come from a traumatized childhood in where they swore they would never be helpless against invaders. They strive to learn from their mistakes and never have an enemy explore their weaknesses as they seek to explore the enemy's. Every new encounter with a new race of enemies makes the Predators stronger in combat as it gives an opportunity to learn new tactics for that race. One that has truly studied their increasing number of prey will make it their goal to become the number one predator. If their enemies bleed, they can die.

If you have fought this type of ranger before and lost, do not expect to win the second time. These rangers learn from their mistakes become stronger from their last encounter. Once they learn how to fight you, they will hunt your kind to where you will show little to no threat to them or their loved ones.

List of Prey

At 3rd level, you gain experience with types of creatures you have fought before. If you are engaged with the enemy and you defeat it, then their race is added to your list of prey over a long rest. After you do so, you can add 1d6 to your attack and damage rolls towards that race from then on.

Checking Vitals

At 7th level, your eagerness to explore your enemies' weaknesses draws you to dissect their corpses to explore their vital organs.  Over a short rest, your new data will allow you to reroll your damage dice from your melee or ranged weapons when you are engaged with this race.

Learned Blade

At 11th level, you can imbue your fey magic into your blade. This blade is magical and every time you strike down a creature with that weapon, you gain a +1 to that creature's race. This will stack the more enemies you slay of that race. Eventually, you could be wielding a +7 sword against orcs after slaying 7 orcs with it. If this blade breaks, you can take a long rest to imbue the memories into another weapon.

Predator on the Hunt

At 15th level, you have mastered your enemies at such a pace that you know how to track them and speak their languages. You have become a deadly hunter and the top predator of all you have encountered.
