Base Class: Bard

Sad Melodies

When you join the College of Despair at level 3, you can reverse inspire creatures.

You play a sad melody that drifts through the air into a creature of your choice’s mind. Use an inspiration die and subtract that from that creature’s next attack roll, saving thow, or ability check.

Frightful Words

At 3rd level, you learn to weave magic into your words, telling stories and threatening foes into being deathly terrified of a creature of your choosing.

You can use your action to talk fear into a creature. The creature makes a Wisdom saving throw against your spell DC, on a fail, the creature becomes frightened of one creature of your choosing other than you. On a success, nothing happens.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Hexing Phrase

At sixth level, you gain the ability to curse creatures with phrases imbued with magic.

As a bonus action you may use an inspiration die to do one of the following:

Choose a creature within 60 feet of you, that creature is blinded until the start of its next turn.

Choose a creature within 60 feet of you, that creature is vulnerable to a damage type of your choosing until the start of its next turn.

Choose a creature within 60 feet of you, any damage that creature does to another creature of your choosing is also halved and done to the hexed creature.

Songs of Sorrow

At 14th level you’ve become masterful at weaving your words into the minds of others.

Whenever a creature makes a save against an enchantment spell with the debuff tag, it has disadvantage.
