Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

A dark creature has marked you as their champion. They once were mortal but they too made a pact and became the undead bloodsuckers that are spoken of in hushed tones. A vampire has chosen you to take some of their power in return for helping them. A vampire strives for many things, these may be power, order, or even just pure blood and agony. Whatever it be, you now are connected to one and you gain some of their thirst for blood.

Additional proficiencies

At first level, you gain proficiency in martial weapons that don't deal bludgeoning damage and medium armor.

Thirst for Blood

Starting at first level, you gain the ability to siphon the vitality of your enemies. As an action, you can bite an enemy as a melee attack, dealing 1d6+CHA Necrotic Damage. If the target isn't undead, you gain temporary hit points equal to the damage dealt. Once a target has been affected in this way, they cannot be again until you complete a short rest. The necrotic damage rises as you gain levels becoming 2d6 at 6th level, 3d6 at 11th, and 4d6 at 17th

Undead Vitality

Starting at 6th level, you have become so suffused with the undead nature of your patron, you gain the following benefits:

- You have resistance to Necrotic damage
- You count as undead when considering Spell and Magical Effects
- As a bonus action, gain a limited form of the regenerative properties of your patron. You regain hitpoints equal to half your warlock level (rounded up) at the start of each of your turns for the next minute. Once you have used this feature, you cannot do so again until you have completed a long rest

Vampiric Resilience

Starting at 10th level, you start gaining your patrons un-natural strength. Whenever you take bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage from non-magical attacks, you can use your reaction to make a constitution saving throw (DC= the damage taken) and on a success gain resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage from non-magical attacks until your next turn.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your charisma modifier and you get all expended uses back after a long rest.

Death's Bite

Starting at 14th level, when you hit a creature with an attack, you can use this feature to imbue your attack with life sucking energy. If they aren't undead, the target takes an extra 8d6 necrotic damage and you heal for half the damage dealt.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
