Base Class: Bard
The College of War Chanting was originally founded by Dwarven War Heralds, although in the years since, bards of many other races have added to the collective knowledge of this tradition. Warchanters do not just go to battle to witness the great deeds of others, they seek to become known (or even feared) as warriors in their own right. The College teaches methods of enhancing concentration through rhythmic battle hymns, accompanied by a series of battle dances used to practice combat techniques. Dwarven chants and songs still make up the bulk of the studies, and popular instruments include horns, drums, and pipes, including bagpipes.
Warchanter
When you join the college of War Chanting at 3rd level, you learn to hone your memory for magic by chanting rhythmic mantras in battle. Whenever you make a concentration check to maintain a spell, you can add your Bardic Inspiration die to the Constitution saving throw. This ability does not expend a use of Bardic Inspiration.
Stinging Chant
Also at 3rd level, you learn a chant to imbue your weapon with magical force. When you hit with a weapon attack, you may expend a use of Bardic Inspiration to roll your Bardic Inspiration die and add the damage to the attack. When you do so, your weapon is considered magical for that attack. You can't use this ability if you are silenced.
Weapon Dance
At 6th level, you can perform an intimidating maneuver with a weapon you are wielding as a bonus action. You single out an enemy who can see you and perform a series of twirls, tosses, slashes, or flourishes while taunting them. The target enemy must save on a Wisdom saving throw against your Bard Spell DC or be frightened of you until the end of your next turn. You may use this ability a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier, and you regain these uses upon a short or long rest.
Spelldancer
At 14th level, you have advantage on Constitution saving throws to maintain concentration against non-magical damage. At 18th level, this extends even to magical damage. You also learn one additional spell from Magical Secrets at 14th and 18th level, which are considered Bard spells for you but do not count against the number of spells you know.
