Bard
Base Class: Bard

An experiment with racially-locked subclasses, and class features linked to racial features. Magic and music have long been interlinked, and through music you have awakened your divine blood. This subclass is only accessible to Aasimar Bards.

Bonus Proficiencies

You gain Expertise in the Religion skill if you do not already have it. 

Bonus Cantrip

At 3rd level you gain an additional cantrip of your choice from the cleric spell list, this becomes a bard cantrip for you, and does not count against your number of cantrips known.

Ascended Transformation

At 3rd level, during your Aasimar transformation, your awakened divine blood gives you additional benefits depending on your Aasimar subrace. 

Protector Aasimar: Your flying speed increases to 60 feet.

Scourge Aasimar: Creatures within 10 feet who take the radiant damage from your initial transformation must succeed on a constitution saving throw against your spell save dc or be blinded until your transformation ends.

Fallen Aasimar: Creatures within 10 feet who take the additional necrotic damage from your transformation must succeed on a constitution saving throw of your spell save dc or be frightened of you until your transformation ends. 

Divine Guidance

At 6th level, you gain an additional spell depending on your Aasimar subarace, this does not count against your list of spells known, and is considered a bard spell for you. 

Protector Aasimar: Revivify

Scourge Aasimar: Protection from Energy 

Fallen Aasimar: Animate Dead 

Bastion of the Divine

At 14th level when you initiate your aasimar transformation, choose a number of creatures up to your charisma modifier within 60 feet of you. These become your Believers, and gain an additional effect depending on your Aasimar subrace for the duration of your transformation. 

Protector Aasimar: When your Believers regain hit points from a spell or feature, they regain the maximum number of hit points instead of rolling. 

Scourge Aasimar: Your Believers are immune to the blinded condition and have resistance to radiant damage. 

Fallen Aasimar: Your Believers are immune to the frightened condition and have resistance to necrotic damage.
