Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

Clerics of deities such as Auril or Bahamut wield the power of frost, freezing their gods' enemies and striking with weapons of ice. Lands of snow and ice are harsh and inhospitable by the unprepared. However, the struggle to survive in these environments can also represent a greater struggle, one that all living things must face. A cleric of frost could be a guiding hand, meant to show the path to survival in a harsh world. They could be a force of vengeance, destroying those that drag down the innocent to survive in an unsightly way. Or perhaps they themselves are the challenge to overcome, serving as a living test prospective heroes must overcome. Regardless, their powers will wear away at their enemies and freeze the unwary.

Blessing of the North Wind

At 1st level, your god has given you the ability to battle creatures that use the powers of ice for ill. Whenever you cast a spell of 1st level or higher that deals cold damage, that spell ignores resistances to cold, and treats immunity as resistance. In addition, once per long rest, you may choose a Cleric spell that deals damage of a type other than cold. Whenever you cast that spell, you may choose to have that spell deal cold damage instead of its usual type.

Arctic Artifice

At 6th level, you can use an bonus to create weapons and objects of a size no larger than medium. A weapon made this way deals cold damage instead of it’s usual type. You are proficient with these weapons, and may use your Wisdom modifier for attack and damage rolls with them.

A shield created this way grants a +2 bonus to your AC, and resistance to cold damage, but is destroyed after taking fire damage equal to twice your cleric level.

You may have up to two items created this way, and up to three at the 18th level.

Potent Spellcasting

At 8th level, you add your wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.

At 17th level, whenever you cast a cleric spell centered on a single point, you may choose to double the radius of its effects. In addition, you may use your Channel Divinity to cast Freezing Sphere, Wall of Ice, Investiture of Ice, or Control Weather, without using a spell slot and using Wisdom as your spellcasting ability.
