Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Some warriors have grown too reliant on their weapons - but not you. You are the weapon, striking with unknown violence with you bare hands, breaking bones and ripping flesh apart as you enter your rage.

Thunderous Fist

When you choose this path at 3rd level, your practice of martial arts gives you mastery of combat styles that use unarmed strikes.

You gain the following benefits while you are unarmed and you aren't wearing armor or wielding a shield:

  • You can roll a d6 in place of the normal damage of your unarmed strike. This die changes as you gain levels in this subclass, becoming a d8 at level 5, a d10 at level 11 and a d12 at level 17.
  • When you use the Attack action with an unarmed strike on your turn, you can make one unarmed strike as a bonus action. For example, if you take the Attack action and attack with your fists, you can also make an unarmed strike as a bonus action, assuming you haven't already taken a bonus action this turn.

Ultra-Violent Technique

Starting at 6th level, your unarmed attacks are considered magical for the purpose of overcoming resistances.

Bathe in Blood

Beginning at 10th level, if you are raging and hit a creature with your Thunderous Fist, you can use your bonus action to frighten other creatures with your menacing presence. When you do so, every enemy within 10ft of you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or be frightened of you until the end of your next turn.

If the creatures succeeds on its saving throw, you can’t use this feature on that creature again for 24 hours.

Eye for an Eye

Starting at 14th level, when you take damage from a creature that is within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to make an unarmed strike against that creature.
