Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Way of the Weave use their ki energy to tap into the weave and create arcane magical effects. They can use their energy to create small or minor effects, but can also create large arcane results. Working close together with clerics, wizards, and other magic practitioners, their magics can lean to one or more magical archetypes.
Grasp of the Arcane
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you start to gain grasp on the simple magics of the arcane. You learn the shocking grasp cantrip and learn one additional cantrip from the wizard spell list. You can use your Wisdom whenever a spell you cast refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Wisdom modifier when setting the saving throw DC for the spells you cast. When making an attack roll with one, you can choose between your Dexterity and Wisdom.
- Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier
- Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Dexterity or Wisdom modifier
In addition, when using the Attack action or your Flurry of Blows, you can use 1 ki point to substitute one of your attacks to cast shocking grasp. You can use this ability once per round.
Acupressure Smite
At 6th level, when you hit a creature using your martial arts, you can expand ki points to empower the attack. You deal an extra 2d6 force damage with your attack using 2 ki points, plus 1d6 for each extra ki point. You can use a maximum of ki points per round for this ability equal to your proficiency bonus.
Dispelling Fist
Beginning at 11th level, when you hit a creature using your martial arts, you can cast dispel magic on the target. You can use this ability an amount equal to your Wisdom modifier per day (minimum of 1) and can upcast the spell using 2 ki points per level.
In addition, when you hit a creature that can cast spells, you can use 3 ki points to disable it from using magic. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw against your ki save, or it is unable to cast spells of 1st level or higher for 1 minute. At the end of its turn, it can repeat the saving throw.
Weave Master
At 17th level, you have mastered to influence the weave using your ki energy. You can innately cast enlarge/reduce and haste on yourself, once per day. In addition, you can use ki points to cast the spells again. The amount of ki points needed is 1 + the spell's level. When casting the spell, you don't need the material components for them, as you power them using your ki energy.
