Base Class: Blood Hunter
The Legacy of the Silvered Bullet V.2
The Order of the Silvered Bullet was founded by a great Blood Hunter, known as the Silvered Bullet. She was renowned among Blood Hunter as she joined no Order and insisted on the usage of firearms for monster hunting, rather than traditional weaponry. As such she was rejected by most Hunters, who would refuse to associate with her. She was very successful in her hunts however and therefore gained a following among the younger, less traditional Hunters. She used this to set up her Order, the Order of the Silvered Bullet. This Order had its own onus or tenants, much like the Order of the Lycan, though for different reasons. The Onus is detailed here:
The Tenants of the Silvered Bullet
Swiftness- You must be fast, faster than your enemies. You must always be the one who shoots first.
Accuracy- Your shots must fly true, as should your words.
Morality: Your shots must always fly in the defense of the defenseless.
Hunter's Shot
Hunter's Shot
Starting at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with firearms. In addition, you gain a special firearm known as the Hunter's Shot. It takes the form of any non-magical firearm of your choice and has the following features:
- All bullets fired from this firearm count as magical, for the purposes of overcoming resistance and immunity to non-magical damage.
- It starts with 100 pieces of ammunition. You may expend a usage of Blood Maledict to create 10 pieces of ammunition for it ,as an action, or may create 10 pieces of ammunition by a 30 minute ritual which can be done during a long rest.
-Regardless of the type of firearm it is, it will always load 10 shots. You must take a bonus action to load one shot.
-It may be drawn or stowed as a bonus action.
Curse of the Dead Eye Shot
You gain an additional Blood Curse:
Curse of the Dead Eye Shot
-As a bonus action you can target a creature within the range of your Hunter's Shot. For 1 minute, you have advantage on attack rolls against that creature using your Hunter's Shot. As another bonus action, you may shift this curse to a different creature.
Amplify: You deal extra untyped damage with your Hunter's Shot to a cursed creature for the duration equal to the number you rolled on your crimson rite die.
Hunter's Intuition
Starting at 7th level, you are an expert marksman and know just where to target an enemy. As a bonus action, you may target a specific body part on a creature you are about to attack. If the attack succeeds then the creature suffers an additional effect until it regains all hit points based on the targeted body parts as shown here:
-Eye: The creature has disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks that require sight. Target this twice, and the creature is blinded unless it has more than two.
-Arm: The creature cannot use two-weapon fighting, wield two-handed weapons or do actions that require two hands. Target this twice, and the creature cannot use its arms unless it has more than two.
-Leg: The creature's movement speed is halved. If you target this twice, the creature falls prone unless it has more than two.
-Head: All damage is doubled. Target this four times, the creature dies unless it can survive without a head.
Hunter's Rite
Starting at 11th level, you gain an additional esoteric rite, the Hunter's Rite. This rite can only be activated on firearms. When active that weapon permanently gains all traits of your Hunter's Shot if it didn't have them and gains these additional features until your next rest:
- The weapon scores a critical hit on an 18-20.
- The weapon deals extra piercing damage equal to your crimson rite die.
- The weapon does not need to be reloaded and has infinite ammunition.
Improved Hunter's Shot
Starting at 15th level, your Hunter's Shot has been improved either by magic or through your technological expertise. It gains the following extra benefits:
- It ignores misfire values.
- It ignores loading.
- It now loads 20 shots and can be reloaded of 5 as a bonus action.
Hunter's Marksmanship
At 18th level, your marksmanship is unsurpassed by any, save others in this Order. You gain a bonus to attack rolls with your Hunter's Shot equal to two times your Dexterity modifier. In addition, if a creature's AC is lower than your Dexterity score and you miss on any attack roll against them using a firearm that wasn't a natural 1, you still deal half damage.
