Base Class: Monk
The special Ki training a student of this tradition undergoes allows for several techniques whose strength increases the more Ki is put into them.
Unbreakable Spirit
The first part of this technique revolves around the Monk using Ki to lighten their body. Starting at level 3, when you are attacked, you may expend any number of Ki points, adding them to the respective defense (AC, result of a saving throw, etc.), And reducing your weight by 2 pounds per Ki point spent this way. Alternatively, you can reduce the damage taken by twice the amount of Ki points spent.
In addition, at the end of a turn when Ki is expended, roll 1d4 and recover that many expended Ki points.
Unstoppable Advance
Starting at 6th level, when you successfully make an unarmed strike, you may channel Ki through you to strike almost faster than eyes can see by slowing down time for a moment. For each Ki point spent to use this skill, roll 1d4. The result of these rolls is the number of additional strikes, all identical to the first.
As an alternative, you may declare a number of ki points before you attack. You may add this number to all attack rolls made that turn, or increase the damage done by that attack.
Mach Flow
Starting at 11th Level, when you attack a target slower than you, you may spend any number of Ki points. If you do, you may add +1 to attack and damage rolls for every 5 feet higher of walking speed you have, per Ki point.
When a foe makes a weapon attack against you, you may spend any number of Ki points. If you do, make a DEX save against their attack roll, with the only bonus being half the number of Ki points spent. On a successful Save, all damage from that attack is reduced to zero.
Ultimate Ki Flux
Starting at 17th Level, you are so attuned to the Ki that you have the most powerful techniques at your disposal.
When you use an Unbreakable Spirit technique, you may spend any number of Ki points. When you do, you may grant an ally the benefits instead of yourself, within a range of 5 feet per Ki point spent.
When you use an Unstoppable Advance technique, you may spend any number of Ki points. When you do, you may make a ranged attack with the same properties instead, with a range of 5 feet per Ki point spent, and without the prerequisite of needing to succeed on an unarmed strike prior.
When you use a Mach Flow technique, you may spend any number of Ki points. When you do, you may move to any place within your walking distance plus 5 feet per Ki point spent. This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks.
