Base Class: Rogue
Ninjas are the most honorable of rogues, usually serving noble lineages as a retainer or assassin. They, unlike most assassins, strive to fight fairly and without dirty tricks, but they still rely on their tools as you would expect. They often carry many weapons of different kinds, like daggers and scimitars, and are excellent at keeping their opponents on their toes with new tactics and strategies. They also highly value the idea of debt and often find themselves serving under a commoner temporarily to repay them for giving them intel or assistance. They also usually accompany royalty when they're outside of the safety of their castle or designated quarters as protection and help in difficult tasks.
Unseen Speed
Starting at 3rd level, you can use a bonus action to teleport to a location within your walking speed instantly, ignoring any difficult terrain or obstacles you couldn't traverse in the way. You can not use this ability to teleport yourself onto a space your character could not occupy.
Versatile Fighter
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you become a master at using various different weapons and even exploiting weaknesses with any weapon you use.
You become proficient in two weapons of your choice. (It's up to your DM which weapons are and aren't allowed.)
Your Sneak Attacks are no longer restricted to just Finesse and ranged weapons.
Seasoned Hider
Starting at 9th level, you gain on (Sleight of Hand) checks involving secretly taking out an item or weapon and (Stealth) checks involving hiding behind something or in shadows.
Knowledge of Tools
By 13th level, you have learned enough about working with tools that you understand them enough to know how to make them.
Once during a short or long rest, you can make a (History) check (DC14) and, if you succeed, make any one of the following items and add it to your inventory:
•A set of supplies (What counts as a set of supplies is up to your DM.)
•A bag of caltrops
•A crowbar, hammer, or set of thieves' tools
Paragon of Assassination
When you reach 17th level, you have become adept at taking out your targets as fast as possible and can nitpick and abuse even the slightest of weaknesses in an opponent.
When you would make a weapon attack against an enemy, you can bypass the restrictions of Sneak Attack and use it regardless of the situation and you can add one extra weapon damage die to the attack and include the weapons damage modifiers for this extra damage die.
