Base Class: Barbarian
Goron barbarians who follow the path of the Stonestriker have the unique ability to project sharp spines from their bodies. They often use this ability to throw themselves into combat, striking with their body itself and giving themselves over to the fury of battle.
Restriction: Gorons Only
Only gorons can follow the Path of the Stonestriker. The stonestriker fills a particular niche in goron society and culture.
Your DM can lift this restriction to better suit the campaign. The restriction exists for the realm of Hyrule. It might not apply to your DM’s setting or your DM’s version of Hyrule.
Stone Spikes
3rd-level Path of the Stonestriker feature
When you enter your rage, sharp spikes grow from your stony hide. The spikes are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal piercing damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier, instead of the normal bludgeoning damage for an unarmed strike.
While raging, you can use a bonus action to make one unarmed strike with your spikes.
Additionally, when you use the Attack action to grapple or shove a creature while raging, the target takes piercing damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier if your check succeeds.
Reckless Abandon
6th-level Path of the Stonestriker feature
When you use Reckless Attack, you also gain temporary hit points equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1). They vanish if any of them are left when you finish a short or long rest.
Also, your inner strength causes your attacks with your spikes count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.
Stonestriker Charge
10th-level Path of the Stonestriker feature
You can take the Dash action as a bonus action while you are raging. When you do so, difficult terrain doesn't cost you extra movement for that turn.
Spiked Retribution
14th-level Path of the Stonestriker feature
When a creature within 5 feet of you hits you with a melee attack, the attacker takes piercing damage equal to your Strength modifier if you are raging and you aren’t incapacitated.
Additionally, you gain a +1 bonus to AC while raging, as your spikes help turn away incoming blows.
