Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

The world is full of sickness, plagues, poisons, and illness of all kinds. Those who follow the arcane tradition of the Plague Doctor know this very well, and choose to focus their studies on gaining knowledge of diseases and poisons, and how to both control their effects. "Plague Mages," as they are referred to, favor spells that deal with poison and disease, and are often found working as doctors, medical experimenters, or wielding the strength of disease for their own person use.

Ill Knowledge

By second level, you have gained additional knowledge regarding disease and plagues. You gain proficiency in the Medicine skill and the Herbalism kit, and you have advantage on saving throws against diseases

Plague Magic

Beginning at 2nd level, you have begun your journey into poisonous plague magic. Whenever you cast a spell that deals acid or poison damage, you can add your Intelligence modifier to one damage die roll. Additionally, whenever you cast a spell of 1st level or higher that deals acid or poison damage, the acid or poison damage ignores resistance to these damage types, and treats immunity as resistance

Sanitize & Infect

Starting at 6th level, you have learned to both remove ad bring disease. You add the spells Lesser Restoration, and Stinking Cloud to your spell book. When you cast stinking cloud, you can choose to have it centered on yourself and move with you for the spells curation, and you are immune to the spells effect while active.

Once you cast stinking could in this way, you cannot do so again until you finish a short or long rest. You may still cast the spell normally using an available spell slot.

Afflicted Constitution

Beginning at 10th level, you have become attuned to the effects of disease. You gain resistance to acid and poison damage.

In addition, you add the contagion spell into your spellbook. When casted, you can inflict a target with two effects instead of one.

Once you cast Contagion in this way, oyu cannot doo so until you finish a short or long rest. You may still cast this spell using an available spell slot.

Malady Mastery

Starting at 14th level, the diseases and poisons you create have become dangerously efficient. Whenever a creature fails a saving throw against one of your spells that deals acid or poison damage, or inflicts a disease, the creatures max HP is reduced by an amount equal to your wizard level plus your INT modifier for the next 24 hours. A creature can only be affected by this ability once, and a creature affected by this ability cannot restore their max HP for the duration of this effect. (24 hours)
