Ranger
Base Class: Ranger

The refined cavalry charges of a well organized military can often turn the tide of a battle, but civilized folk are far from the only people to fight atop the many beasts of the world. In the wilds, there are those that favor guerilla tactics, hit and run strategies, and fight atop wild and exotic creatures to fully utilize every advantage nature has to offer.

Wild Steed

You add the spells Find Steed and Greater Find Steed to the Ranger spell list.  You learn them when you have access to 2nd level and 4th level Ranger spells, and they do not count against your spells known.

Strike As One

Your controlled mount gains a bonus to its attack and damage rolls equal to your proficiency.

Starting when you chose this subclass at 3rd level, when you use the Attack action, you can command your controlled mount to make an attack in place of any attack you would make.

Additionally, after you use the attack action, you can use a bonus action to command your controlled mount to make a single attack using its action. Your mount can also use any special abilities, such as Pounce and Trampling Charge, after using its action to attack or as part of its attack. Your mount doesn't benefit from Multi-attack.

Editor's Note:  The term "Controlled Mount" refers to any creature you have mounted that you are also able to control and are currently controlling.  None of the Wild Rider abilities apply to a mounted creature acting independently.

Force of Nature

Wild Fey magic follows you and protects and enhances creatures aiding you in battle. Starting at 7th level, your controlled mount gets a bonus equal to your Wisdom modifier to its AC and all of its saving throws.

Additionally, attacks made by your controlled mount are considered magical for the purpose of overcoming damage resistance.

Harrier

You have become an expert at darting through and around enemy formations, disrupting their strategies and getting your hits in while they are distracted. You and your controlled mount can dash as a bonus action and any attacks of opportunity made against you or your controlled mount provoked by movement are made with disadvantage.

Empower Steed

Starting at 15th level, you can empower the creature you summon when you cast Find Steed or Greater Find Steed. When you cast either spell, you can increase the summoned creature's maximum hit point value by an amount equal to double your Ranger level.

Starting at 15th level, on the first turn of combat, you can use an action on your turn to perform a Wild Charge. When you do a Wild Charge, and you may make a single ranged or melee attack against a number of creature's equal to your proficiency bonus.  You can command your controlled mount to make any of these attacks if it is able, and may move freely before, during, or after any attacks.
