Base Class: Warlock

Your patron, whether known by you or not, is a powerful being with an affinity for poisons, and through these poisons has sway over life and death. Your pact with this patron gives you the ability to use poisons more effectively for your enemies, and allies.

This power does not have sway over the warlocks emotions nor drives. Although a certain pact may have been made, the warlock can choose how to use this power to harm and heal. Whether for good, evil, or both. For one cannot exist without the other.

Expanded Spell List

1st-level Pestilence feature

The Pestilence lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

A Poison, A Remedy

1st-level Pestilence feature

Starting at 1st level, spells and weapons you use that inflict the poison status effect have their CON save increased by 1, this increases to 2 at 8th level, and 3 at 14th level. When you cast a spell that restores any amount of hit points, increase the amount healed by the same amount to each affected creature.

Leeching

6th-level Plague Doctor feature

Starting at 6th level, your connection to the afflictions and diseases of your patron start to manifest and change your body. Depending on your Patron, you either begin to form scales or pustules on your skin, a forked tongue, wrinkled and dry skin, or any other features your patron may have. You gain immunity to the Poisoned status effect and have resistance to poison damage.

Additionally, whenever a creature takes poison or acid damage caused by a spell or ability you control, you can use your reaction to heal yourself or an ally within 30 feet a number of hitpoints equal to half the damage dealt. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your PB +2, and regain all uses upon a long rest.

Illness

10th-level Pestilence feature

Starting at 10th level you begin to radiate an aura of disease and affliction. Creatures of your choice within 10 ft. of you have disadvantage on constitution saves to resist the effects of disease and poison. Any allies standing within the aura have advantage on constitution saves to resist the effects of disease and poison. As an action, you can choose to suppress this aura for as long as you wish, manifesting the aura requires an action.

Additionally, whenever you would deal poison damage to a creature with immunity to poison, the damage is halved, and that creature loses immunity and becomes resistant. A creature with resistance to poison loses resistance and will take full damage from the attack. The base immunities and resistances of affected creatures reset after 1 minute.

 

Battle Medic

14th-level Pestilence feature

Starting at 14th level you gain the ability to cast Resurrect on a fallen ally at will as an action, once per day without material components or spell slots. You must, however, sacrifice half your current hitpoints to do so and you gain 2 levels of exhaustion. Once you've cast Resurrect this way, you cannot do so again until you complete a long rest.
