Base Class: Bard
Long before the many languages of men were used to accompany their music, it was with dance that they communicated. Song and dance were use in confluence across a spectrum of ritual and spiritual needs in ancient society. From early in history, when the shamans of nomadic tribes would use dance to enter a trance-like state to speak with the spirits or with their gods, to the performers of theaters who would dance to evoke emotion on an interpretive level. You can glide through the battlefield like a gust of wind, winding around your enemies and inspiring your allies.
Dancer at Heart
When you join the College of Dance at 3rd level, You have expertise in Performance. When dancing to perform you have advantage on rolls to impress others.
Ecstatic Trance
Also at 3rd level, you can enter a trance-like state in battle with a bonus action. While not wearing armor you can add your CHA mod your AC, and Dodge or Disengage as a bonus action. You also have advantage on concentration checks. This trance ends if you are grappled, restrained, or incapacitated. You can enter this state once per short rest at level 3, twice at level 10, and three times at level 15.
Oracular Rhythm
You can cast the spells Divination and Commune once a day each without spending any spell components. They have a casting time of 10 minutes for you as you dance to cast them.
Circle of Tempo
Starting at 14th level when you enter your Ecstatic Trance you can choose to increase the tempo. In this state you can take two actions per round and your walking speed increases by 15 feet. In addition, whenever you spend a bardic inspiration die on an ally, that ally can join you in dance to gain an extra 15 feet of movement and dash or disengage as a bonus action until the end of their next turn. After ending the trance you gain one level of exhaustion.
