Base Class: Rogue
Many mages wield vast power throughout the Kingdom. Some are wrapped into political affairs, some are developing country-leading magical weapons and others even make a career out of hunting and capturing others using their spells. However, what happens when these mages are the ones who need captured or hunted. Who do you send after these beings of immense magical capabilities? Well, that's where us Spellbreakers come in. It's our job to hunt down and stop rogue mages of all kinds. Whether it's bringing them to justice or silently taking out political enemies, as long as it involves magic, we're the best ones for the job. We seek out and break both magic and magicians everywhere.
Arcane Senses
3rd-level Spellbreaker feature
Your training in fighting against practitioners of magic has given you vast knowledge of and keen insight into the various spells used by mages. You gain proficiency in the Arcana skill.
Anti-Magician Tactics
3rd-level Spellbreaker feature
Your training and experience in battling mages has taught you ways to attack that help disrupt the casting of magic. When you hit a creature with an Attack, you may choose to also disrupt the target further with one of the strike options below. The saving throw DC for these strikes is calculated as follows: 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Dexterity modifier.
Silencing Strike. After you hit a creature with an Attack and use this feature, the target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be silenced until the start of your next turn.
Blinding Strike. After you hit a creature with an Attack and use this feature, the target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be blinded until the start of your next turn.
Disorienting Strike. After you hit a creature with an Attack and use this feature, the target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or gain disadvantage on all concentration checks until the start of your next turn.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Magic Dismantling
9th-level Spellbreaker feature
Your familiarity with the arcane arts and your increased training in anti-magic applications has given you ways to break spells. You can now cast both counterspell and dispel magic as 3rd level spells. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
You can cast these spells using this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain all expended uses of this feature after completing a long rest. You can also cast these spells using spell slots you have of the appropriate level.
Spell Absorption
13th-level Spellbreaker feature
If you take damage from a spell, you may as a reaction absorb some of the arcane energy from the spell. After absorbing a spell, the next time you hit a creature with an attack, you may deal additional force damage equal to the level of the spell you absorbed + your proficiency bonus (minimum of 1).
Arcane Resistance
17th-level Spellbreaker feature
Your training and experience in fighting all things arcane has reached its zenith and allows you to maintain a state of constant awareness and protection from all magical assaults. You gain a bonus to all saving throws against spells that target you equal to your Intelligence modifier.
