Base Class: Rogue
You focus your training on the grim art of death. Those who adhere to this archetype are focused: hired killers, spies, and bounty hunters are the stepping stones to becoming a Black Ops Agent. Stealth, poison, deception and shadows help you eliminate your foes with deadly efficiency.
Bonus Proficiencies
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Stealth and Deception skills if you don’t already have it. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses either of those proficiencies.
Assassinate
Starting at 3rd level, you are at your deadliest when you get the drop on your enemies. You have advantage on attack rolls against any creature that hasn’t taken a turn in the combat yet. In addition, any hit you score against a creature that is surprised is a critical hit.
Shadow Walker
At 9th level, You become adept at evading creatures that rely on darkvision. While in darkness, you are invisible to any creature that relies on darkvision to see you in that darkness.
In addition, you have learned to make the most of every moment, you can add your proficiency to initiative rolls.
One with Darkness
At 13th level, with your seamless blending in with the shadows comes to a point where the enemies aren't even truly sure they know you are there in the first place. When in dim light or darkness you can use your cunning action to make a contested stealth check against an enemies perception check. If you succeed then the target is considered surprised for your next attack against them.
In addition, when you are hidden from a creature and attack it with a ranged weapon attack, making the attack doesn't reveal your position.
Death Strike
Starting at 17th level, you become a master of instant death. When you attack and hit a creature that is surprised, it must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 + your Dexterity modifier + your proficiency bonus). On a failed save, double the damage of your attack against the creature.
