Sun Soul Reworked

Radiant Sun Bolt

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can hurl searing bolts of magical radiance.

You gain a new attack option that you can use with the Attack action. This special attack is a ranged spell attack with a range of 30 feet. You are proficient with it, and you add your Wisdom modifier to its attack and damage rolls. Its damage is radiant, and its damage die is a d4. This die changes as you gain monk levels, as shown in the Martial Arts column of the Monk table.

When you take the Attack action on your turn and use this special attack as part of it, you can spend 1 ki point to make the special attack twice as a bonus action.

When you gain the Extra Attack feature, this special attack can be used for any of the attacks you make as part of the Attack action.

Attacking an opponent within 5 feet of you does not impose disadvantage on these attack rolls.

Blinding Strike

Starting at 6th level, you can blind an enemy with your Radiant Sun Bolts. When you hit another creature with a Radiant Sun Bolt, you can spend 1 ki point to attempt a blinding strike. The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be blinded until the end of your next turn.
 
 

Searing Sunburst

At 11th level, you gain the ability to infuse your Radiant Sun Bolts with your ki to empower them. When you hit a target with a Radiant Sun Bolt, you can choose to spend a number of ki points up to your proficiency bonus to empower your strike. For every ki point you spend, you may roll one additional roll of your martial die to determine the attacks damage.

 

Radiant Eruption

As a bonus action you can spend 6 ki points to fulminate with radiant energy. Every creature of your choice within 30 feet of you must make a constitution saving throw or take 15d6 radiant damage and be blinded. A creature can repeat this save at the end of each of their turns, ending the blindness on a success. 

In addition, for one minute you gain immunity to radiant damage, necrotic damage, and the blinded condition, you emit bright light for 30 feet around you and dim light for an additional 30 feet, you gain a flying speed of 30 feet, and magical darkness within 40 feet of you that originates from a spell of 6th level or lower is dispelled.
